Amazing stylish boots!

I saw these were getting some bad reviews due to some struggling to get on. I found these true to size and very stiff getting on for first time. It literally took me about 5 mins to wiggle my feet and get them on. But once they were in and I wore they’ve stretched out nicely and now don’t have the issue. The leather, detail and craftsmanship is beautiful. I highly recommend if you have a little patience to break in. Very stylish and comfortable boot!

Design flaw

This is a beautiful boot, but unfortunately, if you have a high instep you will not be able to get your foot past the boot shaft. I ordered 3 different pairs in sizes 8, 8.5, and 9. I normally wear a size 8.5 or 9. Strangely enough, I was able to get my right foot into the 8.5, but not the left one. I thought it was a defective pair so I sent it back and ordered an 8 since the 8.5 was a little big. Again, no luck. This time I was not able to get either foot past the shaft. Because I loved the look of this boot I figured I’d give it one more try with a size 9, knowing that it would probably be too big. However, I was curious and wanted to see if a bigger size would make a difference. Unfortunately, the 9 had the same issue. At the end of the day this boot is beautiful but there is a defect in the way it is made. Maybe if I kept trying a pair would eventually fit, but I decided to go with a different company instead. I’ve never had this issue with a boot or shoe, so I have to blame it on a design flaw. I guess they’re not made for people with a high instep.

Beautiful leather work!

I got sz 5.5. Perfect fit. I am normally a 5.5 to 6 in Tony Lama’s and these Soto boots are a little on the large size like Tony Lama’s. These are the firs boot that is so comfortable right out of the box for me.I have Lama’s, Corals, Laredo's, Nocona, Dan Post all were real stiff and breaking in was long.The workmanship on these Soto boots are fantastic. Time and work/play will tell the story on how well they will hold up.But for now I’m in love!!
