Best Aqua Socks I ever had
I live near the beach (2 miles from driveway to sand) and walk on the beach a lot. I have worn aqua socks on the beach for years. I kept my old ones to long and came home with my feet coated in sand from unseen holes. These Speedo's are the best aqua socks I've ever had. No sand on me feet so no need to have a foot bath to scrub all that sand off.Some people complained about the difficulty of putting these on. I believe this design is best for keeping unwanted grime out of the shoes/socks and off the feet. I found them easy to put on when I devised the better method. The right shoe was easier because I'm right handed. Point the toes in while holding the sole with the opposite hand. Completely fit the toes first then pull the sole back toward the heel, then have that heel open with your finger or use a shoe horn and it slips right on. My left hand is not skilled enough to use the shoe horn (don't know why) but the finger does the trick.Recently I was watching a wind surfer ride the waves. I can see where it would be vital for a sport like that to have the awesome snug fitting shoes like this and the traction to hold on to that board.

FAVORITE WATER SHOES
I just purchased my 3rd pair of this water shoe. I do water exercise every weekday for several years now, and at first I was going through new water shoes about every month: some cheaper models but also some very pricey ones. The chlorine just destroyed shoes so fast I couldn't buy them fast enough. Then I bought my first Speedo Surfwalker shoes. These shoes were more comfortable than any shoe I had bought before, and to my surprise, they actually held up to almost daily use for well over a year. I bought a second pair to replace the old ones when the elastic started to be a bit too "stretchy" (but those original shoes are still usable in a pinch.) I was amazed at the durability and comfort. I am still using my second pair almost daily: they have held up for probably a year now and are still intact, still comfortable. When I received notice from Amazon that one of their sellers had this shoe available again, I very quickly ordered another pair for use when I feel the current pair needs replacing. LOVE this shoe. VERY comfortable and VERY durable. I have recommended to many swim friends. Best water shoes I have ever found! Definitely recommend!

Great water shoe
Great water shoe. I initially ordered a size up after reading the suggestions of other reviewers and wish I hadn't. It was too big. Order your normal shoe size!!! If you wear a half size, Go down a half size in this shoe as it does not come in half sizes. I believe this shoe is cut a half size larger due to that. I typically wear a size 8 1/2 in all shoes (My feet are also wide). The 9 in this water shoe was too big. I had to return it and purchase a size 8 and it fits perfectly. Nice and snug just like a water shoe should fit. I wore this shoe while snorkeling and walking on rocks in a cave. No issues. PERFECT!

My cheap water shoes finally broke down but at a time of year that most stores do not carry water shoes. I need them to do water aerobics in a pool.I wear two sizes and am cautious about getting the right size, I usually try to get them locally where I can check the fit. However I did find one of my two sizes at a local store even in late February. I could then figure out the other size. I noted down the brand and sizes and ordered them from Amazon. They fit very well. The top slightly pinches but I put Vaseline on it and it was fine. I am sure it will stretch enough in the near future. The shoes come with a plastic piece to hang them on to dry. That works very well. These are bright looking shoes - easy to find if I misplace them. They are also light weight so easy to put in a gym bag. They did not have the arch support I wanted but those cost at least twice as much.

Great pair of water shoes
These are my first pair of water shoes, so I cannot compare these to anything else. However, I felt that they worked great when I wore them playing on a sandy beach as well as while jetskiing. Virtually no sand got in, and they felt extremely comfortable throughout the 6-7 stretch that I wore them. The tread on the bottom makes them great walking, keeping a non slip grip while on a jetski, and even driving a car.Note that you need to buy a size smaller to get them to fit. I usually wear 6.5 or 7 in shoes, and I bought a size 6 based on the suggestions in the reviews. It was hard to put them on the first time, but they're stretchy and expand once in the water. It's important to get a size smaller just to make sure it's snug.

Perfect for snorkeling!
I bought these for snorkeling and walking on rocky beaches. They worked very well and I highly recommend them. I don't know how they hold up after many uses but they seem to be well-made and durable.Several reviews I read complained that the insole comes out. I think it's supposed to do that so you can properly rinse the sand out of the shoe. I may be wrong, but even if it's not supposed to come out I don't see how it presents an issue when wearing the shoe.Regarding size, I am a size 8 (women's) and have wide feet with high arches. These fit tightly but not so tight that they hurt. I like the fact that they don't flop off my feet when snorkeling and that they are tight enough as to not allow much sand and debris inside when walking. My advice would be to purchase the shoe in your regular size but expect it to fit tightly because that's what they are made to do.

Difficult to put on
These are very comfortable once you get them on. Getting them on is the problem. They have little stretch and are really difficult to get on. I will have to look for something to replace them as this is too much of a problem in the locker room!
