I've been wearing Spenco YUMI Flip-Flops for probably 10 years. Absolutely the most comfortable shoe I can put on my feet. Living on the Gulf coast means I can wear them year round, and I do. It's a good idea to replace them periodically.Great Flip Flop at a reasonable cost.
I have a genetic condition called lymphedema.feet/legs/toes stay very very swelled.that said: these flip flops fit like a dream right out of the box.no break in needed.the between toes strap and strap are very soft.zero irritation.the support is incredible. It's actually a cushiony walking flip flop.this is my second pair I have bought; I so loved my first.I first bought java straw color.it goes with everything & is super flattering on a bit of a tan foot.I wear a woman's 5 extra wide in size 12.These men's size 10D fit me perfect.no wide needed on these.I do recommend if you have wide feet as I do; never buy women's shoes. Figure out your size in men's shoes;and stick to men's shoes which are made wider and sturdier; regardless of size.I adore these. Will be wearing them till snow is up above my ankles yearly.I wear nothing but this shoe: every day: since received.just ordered 2nd pair in black canvas.

This is the third pair of Spenco Sandals I have used. The previous ones last several Summers before something wares out. Excellent fit and comfort with the arch support far superior to others I have tried.
I got these because I have plantar fasciitis and flat feet. They do run a bit small and fit a little oddly up around the thong piece. The first thing that I noticed when I put them on is that the thong strap that goes between your toes is flat and rough which could cause a blister or raw area. I wrapped a bandaid around it to make it round and that eliminated that issue. Another thing that I found to be disappointing is that they seem to be lacking much traction. If you were to walk on wet grass or a tile floor with these you could easily slip and fall. Since the weather has not yet been warm enough to wear them outside I will come back and add further comments after I wear them outside.I'm a little late in adding how these were to wear outside. You do have to be careful on certain surfaces. As far as my original comments on the sizing they seem to run small but the heel portion actually molds itself to your heel so that you don't have them flopping all over and while it took a bit to get used to it's better than regular flip flops. I have to say after having these for awhile now that I actually bought another pair because they are very comfortable. The support doesn't last though and they still look good but are just not as comfortable after you put some miles on them. My biggest issue with Spenco is they are hard to find and the prices jump all over the place especially on here. One color will be super cheap and another color will be $40 more. They should just give them a standard price because then people would buy more than one pair in a season. Once you get a pair you will want more of them but you might not be able to find them.
My husband has plantar fasciitis and neuropathy. He is also flat footed and these are the only sandals he can wear. They provide support and a needed arch that other sandals don't provide that he needs. As a man that hurts with every step, finding sandals that provide some comfort and relief is such a powerful thing. We have bought so many from hundreds of dollars that just caused more pain. So finding these were a blessing because when he gets off work, he is happy to put these on a let his feet heal. THANK YOU
