I had to return my size 6 D and got a 5 1/2 D - better but I only needed a C width which wasn't available. The smaller shoe is better but the heel tends to slip off. I will try a heel pad. I like the look of the shoe. It's comfortable to wear and just what I was hoping to find.Just bought a second pair in gray. 5 1/2 B fits very well not slipping off heel.Yes, Runs Large.
These looked much more attractive online. In person they looked like a shoe for a grade school aged child. Also, my regular size was too short.

I LOVE Spenco shoes and sandals. I have over 30 pairs, so I know how they fit. I have a wide foot. I got wide shoes in my size. The heel on these shoes is HUGE. The back of my foot slips out constantly. Hopefully, with some inserts to the back, it won’t. So bummed because they are comfortable and cute.
Feels good on your feet. Fits as expected
These shoes, in my usual size( 8.5) in Spencos, were WAY too long -- not even a thick sock could take up enough room so they'd be wearable. They also did not have the Spenco comfort factor that I've found in other Spenco shoes -- not nearly enough support. Nor did the overall quality match what I've experienced in my other Spenco shoes.
Liked the style and comfort! They do run big. Had to get 1/2 size smaller:) Sort of like ordering sandals when they don’t have 1/2 sizes!
