Comfortable boat shoe that can be worn all day long!
My previous pair of "Boat Shoes" which I purchased more than 10 years ago had finally lost their battle with life. They served me well and were my favorite pair of shoes to just slip on and go. So when it came to replacing them I had many doubts. One - the brand that I had previously purchased seems to be almost impossible to find these days. Two - they don't seem to make quality shoes anymore... sad. So my search went on. I visited local shops and looked at every brand I could. None of them seemed to match what I had until I found the Sperry Top-Sider. Not only was the style almost identical, but the quality was very much present! None of my local shops had the color style I wanted, so I jumped on trusty Amazon and found the exact color and style I wanted.Usually I have to break these types of shoes in before I go barefoot... with these, I wore socks with them for one day and in a rush forgot about them being new and jumped into them barefoot on day 2. Wore them all day and did not have any problems. The leather didn't bleed at all onto my feet and the feel was perfect. I wore them all day without any issues. The next day I drove for almost 8 hours in them and they were so comfortable that I never had to adjust my feet to remain comfortable. I can't say that for many shoes and the heels seem to stick out too far and cause a weird ankle position that isn't comfortable for driving. These were just perfect.I then wore them on a week long beach vacation and found them to be the right shoe for the task. Great quality, great durability (so far) and very comfortable!

DONT BUY!!! Usually, I am a diligent consumer online concerning reading reviews but, because I have been a lifelong Sperry customer, I didn't follow my own rules. First thing was, they were the wrong color. I thought I ordered the wrong ones. Nope. Ok, simple mistake, but then as I am reading the reviews I noticed this wasn't my mistake but a mistake of Sperry. It has happened multiple times. There was a consistency. Then, the reviews were talking about the quality of the product. I took them out of the box and the first thing I noticed was the quality. Cheap, dyed, thin, hard imitation-feeling leather. I don't know how other can give this shoe a favorable rating; maybe they aren't used to the quality of shoe that I am accustomed to in a Sperry product. It's truly sad because I loved Sperry. One more thing, the seller has made it harder to return the product by limiting the options in the return process. So there's that. Amazon did step up to the plate and come to rescue concerning a return, but I still dont have the shoe that I had wore for 25 years and i cant wear these so I guess I will donate them. Sperry do better

Boat shoes in black (well, mostly black)
I wanted black boat shoes to wear with black jeans. These were an excellent choice. The fit is very comfortable, even for long walks. As for the look, either you like boat shoes or you don't. Your call. If you do, and you want a pair of boat shoes in black, buy this.And, no, if you put on a pair of these well-made, nice-fitting boat shoes, you won't suddenly be overcome by the urge to listen to some Michael McDonald, Christopher Cross, Steely Dan, or other yacht rock icon. These babies are completely safe in that regard.

Love my topsiders
I have worn topsiders shoes for 25 years- So easy just to slip on and off, with no tying required. This purchase was to replace ones that wore out after many years. Love this color. They last for years in my experience. Fortunately for me I can walk in these for long distances without a problem. To me they are very comfortable. The leather on this latest purchase appears slightly different in texture than the old pair. Hope they hold up like the old ones did!

I have bought the same exact style Sperry Top-Sider in the past, and decided to order a pair for this summer season since they seem to be back in style. Even though I like the look of the shoe, it is fitting about a half a size too small. For some reason they do not fit as well and are tighter than I remember.

Comfy and Versatile Shoe
I had always wanted a pair of Sperry's and wanted this versatile colour that would go well with both black and dark brown. The shoes seem sturdy and well made. I wear them without socks and I find them comfortable for walking and standing over long periods. My only concern is that on the left foot the laces are too long and on the right foot the laces are too short. I wish they came the same length.

A longtime favorite!
I love Top Siders, I've been wearing them for years. I knot each lace above the top eyelet, cut the rest of the laces off, and wear them as slip-ons. They last forever and are the perfect shoes to keep near the door for a run to the store, garage, etc., even without socks :-)
