Sperry's Duck Boot! The Best!
Well I got these in the male a couple weeks ago, but they were a Anniversary present. I had a pair of these same shoes from Sperry for the last 10 or so years. They were great! Where them all late Fall, Winter and early Spring. Water proof bottoms, great gripping soles, excellent uppers. Perfect for winter if it isn't deep snow.These this time are even better. Almost the same, really high quality, and great looks. (I was first got a pair from LL but they were wrong size, I was glad to send them back. I found the Sperry's on line and they are much better.)They fit my 9D perfectly ordering a 9D. They aren't cheap, But they are well worth it for the next 10 years.

Nice boots...old inventory??
There is a date stamp inside the Sperry box from July, 2002, which I presume was the date it went into inventory.So have they been sitting in a warehouse for 3 years?Nice boots. I'm looking forward to using them in inclement weather.

Durable in clay and mud
Well 4.5 stars. After 2+ years the insole and laces have been replaced. Inserted a heal pad and fit is good if not comfy. I got these for the support and they are reliably stable in guck. The leatherish top is starting to shred. Sole is good as new. Order a size smaller. Highly Recommended for value.

Styling In The Slush
I have ordered 2 pairs of these, know that they run about a 1/2 size too large.As I wear a 11.5 in all of my shoes & boots, A Sperry 11.5 caused the heel to come out while walking.2nd pair came super quick, in an eleven, fit very well, loved the red plaid liner, the heel was just the right height to make is a snappy casual dress shoe, for church and getting in to and from the parking lot, in a Midwest winter.I found these to be super for going to the store & running errands in the snow, slush and rain.But.....To stand outside and greet for 30-40 minutes, in 20 degrees, they were not nearly warn enough.If your looking for a good looking shoe, that is comfortable & perfect for rain, snow, slush and 30 degrees + this is it.I will say the Sperry Brand is new to me, I will consider it in all future winter purchases.
