Theses shoes are great, comfortable, stylish and functional. The fit is trye to size, with just the right amount of cushioning and support for all day wear. The non-slip soles are a huge bonus, especially on wet docks or boat decks.I've work them both out on the boat and casually around town, and they're great. THE athletic boat show...
Great athletic version of Sperry's without sacrificing the comfort, style, and appearance I've come to expect from this company. I love how the liner is synthetic and pullout. It's actually designed to wear barefoot and then remove, rinse, quickly towel dry, and put right back on. You don't get an odor like you do from the leather insoles of the other styles. The wave like pattern also gives excellent grip inside the shoe when your feet are wet or sweaty and you have no socks on. I wear my low cut short liners for my other Sperry's, but not these. Literally engineered to be worn barefoot while active. Extra mesh for venting, higher rising material for more support and once again, the removable synthetic memory foam like insole. I only wear socks with them when I wear then to work (business casual dress code), but even then only thin dress socks. I have a hard time deciding to wear these or my three eye billfish everyday. So comfortable that my Sperry flip flops have even been neglected down in this Alabama July heat. I highly recommend if you want a more athletic look and feel and want to wear without socks and be able to quickly towel dry the insoles and put them right back on for dry feet comfort. Great for the price too. They do take longer to break in due to the thick soles compared to other styles and boost shoes, however you don't lose comfort. They look new longer and are good to go out of the box. I wear a size 11 regular in all shoes except some dress shoes I wear a 10.5. Fits just like every other pair of Sperry's I've ever owned.

Really good shoes
I have been buying these specific shoes for a number of years, and wear them regularly. When they wear out, I buy a new pair. They are properly sized, very comfortable, look good, and their rubber soles provide very good traction on wet or slippery surfaces. They are solidly made and last a long time. The only shortcoming is the inside sole, which is a rubbery material. I use Tacco leather insoles, which are very thin but durable sheepskin, to make it easier to slide my foot into and out of these shoes, and which provide a breathing surface for the bottom of my feet.

Some of the best all around shoes I've had in a long time. They look nice enough to wear on a night out, are supportive enough to play sports in (if you forget your soccer shoes) they dry quickly after boating or walking in the rain and they slip on like a house slipper. For these reasons, I wore them all the time and the lining of the heal-cup began falling apart after three months. With a better material, I feel that I could have gotten six months out of them. Traditional boat shoes usually last me a year but these are far more versatile.
