OMG What a deal! I cannot express the joy (for shoes, really?) to find these shoes. The color when they arrived was not gray, it was...tepid. So I bent and wiggled and tortured the leather and - poof - gray indeed. The comfort is unequaled to any shoes i own, even much more costly brands. These are comfy even sockless, and they look great. If you get a chance to pick up a pair of these you will understand where I am coming from. If you are on the fence about how these will fit, feel and look, they will fit as expected, they will feel like towels wrapped snugly about your feet and they look great, casual yet nice enough for work. Results may vary, past experience not indicative of future performance but I am satisfied.

VERY Disappointed.
One star is too many!! I've worn Sperry boat shoes for years. I take good care of my shoes. Some of my Sperries are over 10 years old and the leather uppers are still good. HOWEVER, I was shocked when I received this pair. They feel, look and smell like plastic! Definitely returning.

Good shoes but lacking in some respects
The shoes were the right length and also attractive but they were too narrow which made them somewhat uncomfortable. I"ve worn Sperry boat shoes for many years and would have preferred a better quality leather and a brown oile color which is more classic.

There’s no arch there’s no padding in the shoe at all not what I’m used to from Sperry
The pictures reflecting the look of the shoe were inaccurate. There are laces plus a tie that isn’t visible in the photo. The inside of the shoe has little or no lining padding or anything for that matter it’s like walking on concrete the leather, however, is butter, soft and the color is beautiful. Not a substantial shoe for almost $100.

Shoe isn’t what I ordered
I ordered a larger size on purpose, from my normal 7 to 7 1/2, because the last used in Asia is not the same as the one used when top-siders were made in the U.S. The shipper took it upon themselves to send me a size 8, because they say that so many of the shoe are returned. The shoe doesn’t fit. It’s too long and too wide at the heel.
