Comfortable Sperry Footwear
I've been wearing Sperry Boat Shoes for awhile, and the Authentic Original 2-Eye Seasonal Pair did not disappoint. The fit is true to size, and the leather feels durable, yet soft from the first wear. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort, which quickly made me a fan of this shoe. In addition, the price fit my budget, so I purchased this pair from Amazon rather than Sperry website.Finally, I also like how versatile they are. I've worn them casually with shorts and jeans and they even look good with khakis for slightly dressier occasions. The grip on wet surfaces is solid and they feel lightweight while still supportive.Overall, a reliable classic that comes in many colors and delivers both style and comfort.

Nice comfortable boat shoe, with or without socks
I am a tall woman with big feet (size 10.5-11 men’s typically) so often get men’s shoes and am typically a men’s 10.5 in Sperry shoes which is what I bought. These are nice leather boat shoes, run true to size to slightly small and also slightly narrow, which works for my foot but I could see this being an issue for others with wider feet. They are comfortable right out of the box though do have minimal arch support, FYI. It might have been better for me to go up a 1/2 size and use a gel insert for increased cushion and arch support. The black leather is a matte finish so not glossy, and they seem well made and will hopefully be durable.

A real disappointment
Bought these at the end of December 2024 and arrived in January 2025. Thus at the writing of this review, they were only 6.5 months old. With very minimal wear and no mistreatment, the rubber toe of the sole broke off while I was walking. Looks like that has been common occurrence as noted in other reviews. I will admit when putting them on the leather did not seem as comfortable as past ones I had owned. Almost more like a pleather. Not the same quality of the Sperrys I have owned previously. I have pretty much owned a pair of Sperry's of some type for 45 plus years and always found them to be top notch and they last forever. These were very disappointing. Of course no returns or replacements after 30 days so the money down the drain (I did ask the seller and they denied a replacement or refund). Not sure what is going on but based on my and other reviews I definitely would not buy these again.
