A worthy winter companion to my regular boat shoes.
I have been a loyal Sperry customer for years, first in the classic Topsider A/O design and then the Mako 2 eye mocs more recently. I came here on Amazon to order a new pair of Mako's (as my current pair is finally worn out) and happened to see this design - it seemed a bit more suited to the wet, fall/winter seasons so I thought I would give it a try.I normally wear a 12EE in the Mako boat shoe, but alas these are only available in a 12D - that said, I wear them with normal cotton crew socks and after about 12 hours of break-in they're quite comfortable. The soles seem quite sturdy, the insulated interior is warm (but not hot, so as to make your feet sweat), and the leather is of the quality I have come to expect from Sperry. I can't speak to how waterproof they are, but I can say I climbed the Statue of Liberty in these the day after I bought them, which meant about six hours on my feet outside in 45-50 degree weather on ferrys, walking around, and climbing a LOT of stairs, and they were extremely comfortable the whole time.

First Sperry's I have owned
As other reviewers have stated, this shoe runs small. I wear an 11.5 in tennis shoes (new balance 99x series) and in most dress shoes. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a size 12. The length is perfect. Another thing to consider is the width. I have a wide foot and this shoe was a little tight at first across the ball of my feet. I own a shoe stretcher for this reason and after one night with the stretcher in them they fit fine. I really like the look of these shoes with jeans. The leather is very soft and they are lined with a flannel material that feels so good. To early to tell how well they will hold up, but they appear to be high quality. I would definitely order again.

Super Comfy, must have shoe for the winter!
I tend to vary from size 10.5 to 11, depending on the shoes. Sperry's I find run a little small, so I always order 11. These fit my length perfectly but I found them very narrow compared to my other Sperry Top Siders (2 pairs). I've returned them for being much to narrow, will re-order in wider size as soon as the wider ones are available. Other than that, I found these to be incredibly comfortable, far more so than my Top Siders ever thought of being! Also, the soft and cushy interior is really, really nice! We don't have a lot of icy cold days here in Florida but when we do, these will without a doubt keep my feet very comfortable and warm! I travel in the winter months often to New England and I see a pair of these that fit me, going with me this winter! Excellent Comfort! My foot is generally medium at best, I don't have a wide foot but with these ones I actually have to order the extra width, for the first time in my life! So recommend the next width up from the standard size and 1/5 size up in length fit my normal size perfectly!

Functional and Fashionable
What a great pair of shoes. They arrived and I was surprised that they seemed lighter in color than expected. Nevertheless, I still really liked the shoes. The waterproofing has proven to be fantastic and had no problem keeping my feet dry during the rainy winter months. The shoes come with a comfortable and warm plaid lining and never faltered on slippery footing. Long story short, I would buy these again.

Great shoes
Nice looking, heavier than your usual sperrys but very comfortable. Haven't used on heavy rain yet but I am shure they will meet my spectations. I attended previous reviews and ordered half size up and they fit perfect. They are fleece lined so your feet will be a little hot during summer.

Greatest boots out there!!
Sperry Top Siders are the nicest, most comfortable boots out there. Could wear these 24/7, soft, comfortable leather. Feet never tire of wearing these great boots. not breaking them in. Purchased a size up so I could add heavy winter socks and with or without the heavier socks, they are comfortable and easy wear.
