Excellent quality for the price. The fit is as expected but I chose to get the shoe in a 1/2 size larger based on other reviews and my desire to use a heavier winter sock for added insulation, although this boot is insulated. We have had a wild winter here in the northeast, over the last month, and I found the heavier sock provided additional warmth in the heavy snow and the cold temperatures. Something that should be considered when buying a duck boot.I found the boot to be water tight with excellent traction in both snow and on ice. The shoe is also lined, as I mentioned, but there is very little padding on the inside sole so an insole might be in order for some for added comfort. Another potential reason to get a 1/2 size larger than your normal size.My only regret was I purchased the shoe during an Amazon promotion and a day later it went on sale on Amazon for several dollars less.

Let's set the expectation. I don't live in a super cold climate as I live in NC. We do get days in the teens and sometimes colder. I mainly got these because I have raynauds so I battle constantly with keeping fingers and toes half way warm. This is why I bought these. They have the classic look but classy enough to wear into the office. They are comfortable right out of the box. They have plenty of room. I don't have wide feet in fact I'm more on the narrow side. The room lets me run them loose which is needed for raynaud's. I can use these with a thinner sock and thicker with no issues. They are decently warm for me but probably much warmer for a normal person. I wear these to work and work in a manufacturing facility so I walk a lot and I am on my feet. So far they have been very comfortable. I have not warn any other brands in this style so really can't compare. We did have a little bit of snow recently they seemed to have very good traction in a few inches of snow. They are not heavy but they are heavier than a tennis shoe. I'd recommend them to a friend.
