Great Classic Canvas Shoe Design and Really Comfortable Out-of-the-Box
Classic design that mimics tradition boat shoe design combined with contemporary skate influences and comfort. If you want to wear a traditional rather than an athletic shoe these make the cut nicely. I use for kicking around in shorts or for throwing on chinos for a more dressed up look. Clean profile, true-to-size, very comfortable, good support I wore all day at Disneyland without any fatigue or rubbing, they ventilated perspiration really well (90 degrees plus all day), and provided great support. The inner sole is very comfortable and the arch support I found pretty good.After breaking in for a few day's wearing socks, I now wear barefoot - I've gone 3 - 4 hours barefoot but haven't done the whole day and this is out not just inside. I Scotchguard almost all my canvas shoes, I like to keep my shoes clean and new looking - I have 5-year old pairs of all brands that have tops that still look great and in good condition. If they dirty, stains, coffee, muck washes right off. I do skip protecting some shoes because I want that used look with jeans and the beach.So. If you want a classic looking sneaker that dresses up and down that provides good support and is slipper comfortable, I highly recommend.

My 4th pair! I buy them because I love them.
I'm not hard on shoes but overtime, the white rubber surround always starts to get dingy and un-cleanable over time. My last pair- exactly like these- got a tear in them when I caught my foot under a screen door and the corner cut into the rip-stop fabric. Typically a pair will last me about 3-4 years, give/take. Along with durable, quality construction, the Sperrys are the most comfortable for this style of shoe. They blow converse/vans/etc... right out the water. This is my 4th pair and I will likely continue to purchase them, as they wear out, as long as they are available.

Ran big for me
I normally wear a size 12, I had to exchange for an 11. Even the 11 is a tad large, but I'm not going down anymore. Shoes are very sharp looking.

Comfortable with proper room for my toes!
I used to get the more standard canvas versions (striper ii) of these, but THESE are WAY BETTER for my feet. I really like how they wear all day, and they provide better room for my toes. I have a pretty standard width foot, but if you think you're a bit wider than average I would definitely suggest trying to get a wide version. LOVE THEM!!!
