Comfortable shoes but be patient when breaking them in
I have had these for a few weeks and they have become my favorite everyday shoes. Normally I am a size 8.5 but sized a down to an 8 after reading other reviews. I am glad I did but it takes about two weeks for them to loosen up where they are comfortable. I did get blisters in the beginning but that has resolved itself. I think if I went with a size 9, they would have been too big. I like the black, as they go with anything. Also I feel comfortable walking on different surfaces and not slipping. So far the quality is good. I can’t speak for being waterproof as these are lined but my feet are not overheated in the warmer weather. Overall I would purchase again.

Great water shoes
Definitely go a half size smaller. The shoe does run bigger. They were comfortable and felt secure on wet surfaces. My only issue is that I have a left swollen ankle from RA and didn’t realize that the shoe hits my ankle. Needless to say I developed a blister quickly. But I still love the shoes. I actually wore them with a casual dress on the boat. Got lots of compliments. Just take in consideration if your ankle swell.

Good on decks
I’m a boater. Dingys, sloops and race committee. I’m surprised that I like them. Got at a good price. True to size if a bit wide. These slip on easily, stay on and are comfy; not much arch support. The soles don’t slip on deck which I would expect from Sperrys. We will see how they do on odor control but expect they will because of good ventilation. Not fancy but get the job done.

I hoped for better
I bought these with high hopes as an alternative boat shoe and water shoe. I read something about them being comfortable and not causing blisters. I can tell you the first time I wore them, blisters on my ankles. I haven’t wore them since.

Fun shoes!
Altho I don't have a boat nor often go on boats I decided to try these after reading lots of reviews. I love that they are fur lined. I am a size 7-7.5 W or XW due to arthritic issues on both feet. I bought these in an 8 on sale at the time for under $15. They are a little big but I figure in the colder weather with the fur could use them as backup slippers. I also think they're cute!

Not for wearing near water at all
Maybe I didn't read the description well enough? I was looking for boat shoes. These have open air-holes but have a furry lining (not removable) so they are not meant to be worn on a boat at all. I returned them.
