Cozy and comfortable!
I've been on a quest to replace my decade+ old pair of LL Bean duck boots. Came across these Sperry duck boots. These are excellent, more lightweight dupes for the Bean boots, with shearling footbeds (and lining), good traction, and a fraction of the price.I will say that it was a bit of trial and error 'til I got to these. I tried the black quilted shearling-lined version, and though the tag indicated the boots were my size, they weren't even close. They didn't even look as though they would fit. Tried my size and one up in the non-shearling quilted version. Wasn't happy. Then I noticed these were available in my size. Joy! A classic look, plus shearling! And the fit is just right (perhaps a teensy bit loose up front because I wear them without socks). And they somehow are not clunky. I wouldn't wear them to a wedding, but I'd wear them just about anywhere else. Now I don't really mind the cold weather as much. So happy I found these!

These are AWESOME! Better than I'd hoped.
First off, I ordered my regular size (9), and they're perfect, even with thicker SmartWool winter socks. I should note that I have four other pairs of Sperry duck boots (for rain/mild cold), and those are all an 8.5. I'm a size 9 in 95% of brands, but Sperrys can run large. So you probably can get away with ordering your regular size here for winter boots even for thick socks. The leather ankle area is soft and supple. The shearling is incredibly warm and covers the entire footbed as well as the entire ankle/tongue/insole. The top of the foot & heel area (rubber area) are insulated with a smooth liner that's surprisingly warm. I've done some long walks in Chicago when it was 10°F out with these and good winter socks, and my feet stayed warm.Quality has been outstanding. Have had these for about two months, and there are no loose seams anywhere. They look as good the day I got them and are even more comfy. Footbed is very comfortable with the provided shearling insole. I actually do not untie/tie them every time I put them on. I tied them rather loosely like this (see pics) and I just yank them on. They're secure once on the foot.Exceptional quality, regardless of price. I have some taller $249 brown LL Bean shearling boots, and these are super close in quality. The LL Beans have shearling in the exact same places, top of foot/ankle area also lined with smooth insulating fabric. The shearling on those is thicker/higher pile, but the leather on the Sperrys is more supple and attractive. Since the LL Beans are taller with a 10" shaft and thicker shearling, those are like an A+ and these are an A.The ONE thing neither are good at is walking on ice. The soles/treads just aren't rugged enough. This isn't an issue in salted areas or on actual snow, but if you have poorly salted sidewalks that are prone to icing over, something with a more rugged/grippier sole is best, like The North Face boots with their IcePick soles or Salomons with the Contagrip soles.

Love these boots!!
I live in middle Tennessee. We don't get a lot of snow usually. But we get lots of cold and wet weather. Sometimes slushy, icy yuck stays on the ground for a long time. I wanted boots that will keep my feet dry and are comfortable enough to wear walking. I added good arch support insoles. And these boots totally fit the need. They are comfortable and stylish. They are a bit difficult to put on. Hopefully that will get better as they are broken in. But once they are on, they are very comfortable. I'm very pleased with them. They seem to be a good quality product. I believe they are worth the cost. I ordered a half size up because I have as putting insoles in them. They fit very well.

Prague and Paris
My size is 6.5 for everything but with Amazon suggestion, I went with 7 and that works perfectly when wearing socks. The shoes are light, warm comfortable enough to walk 20000 steps a day with some some soreness at the bottom of your feet. It is not 100% water proof as my toes did get wet a bit from the rain in Prague. All in all, $55 or less would be worth it.

Great buy!
These boots were perfect formy 9 yr old daughter. She absolutely loves them and they’re very cute and great quality. Very durable boots, which is a must have for active kids like mine.

Boots review
I pirchased these as I didn’t have any rain or snow boots. They were reasonably priced, a friend purchased them a few weeks before me and suggested I get a pair.So here we are, bought before I took a snowboarding trip to VT and to my surprise, they fit, they were comfortable, they were light weight, and I would get another pair! Only part I don’t care for is the number of times I have had to tie the boots, other than that, no complaints, product is cute and works very well
