A little hard to get on but they’re nice and comfy!
These shoes are comfortable!I got them to wear out on the boat and for walking in during an upcoming trip to the Florida Keys.They are true to size, I usually wear anywhere between a 9 1/2 to a 10 depending on the shoes so I went with my normal lowest size and they’re perfect, still have a bit of toe room so they don’t pinch or put pressure on my toes which is good as I am prone to ingrown toenails.The width is also good, I don’t feel like my foot pushes out in the sides of the shoe.My only complain is they are a bit difficult to get on as there isn’t much stretch across the top and its restricted by the “laces” - I’m not sure if going up a half size would help and I am hesitant to do so as I am afraid then the shoe might be to big.Despite being difficult to get on (and this is either with or without socks on) they are comfortable and aren’t tight once on, and they may become easier to put on with a bit of wear, so I won’t be docking any stars for that.I do recommend these shoes as they are comfy and quite cute.

Tried and True, The Classic for a Reason!
I've had the traditional, tie-lace boat shoes for years. They've lasted forever. I use those kind as actual boat shoes. I needed a pair as walking-around shoes. I partly couldn't use the old ones because they are salt-worn, so, a little too "utilitarian" for the setting I needed them for. So, I wanted to give these a try. Being a boater, I was nervous these would somehow not be as good as my 25 year old pair, but, they seem exactly the same. The size has worn off my old pair, but, my feet used to be half a size larger when I bought the old pair. After reading the reviews, I bought my current size. I needed to do a lot of walking and wear them with wet feet and no socks. I was nervous I might get hot spots - nope! Perfect fit, perfect for casual/cruising on boats or on land. Exactly the same anyone who is a long-time wearer of these would expect. It's so nice when the company that makes a classic does not mess with what works!

True fit
Fit true to size and very comfortable. I had a teal pair and like them so well I ordered a gray pair. They go very well with any sportswear, jeans,and summer dresses. I think I’m going to get a black pair, I volunteer at our local live theater and a requirement is black closed toed shoes.
