The foam footpad insert is unbelievably comfy.
I was torn between giving these water shoes 3 or 4 stars. Mostly because the extreme discrepancy in the sizing. I am a size 11, womens, wide. I have extra long toes, and a size 11 always fits. If anything, they tend to occasionally be a little short for that second long toe I have, rather than too big. These water shoes are huge! There's probably a half inch past my toe to the end of the shoe. And there is a massive 1 inch gap above my foot. These are made for enormous and thick/swollen feet. More like a women's size extra extra wide, 12 or 13.I would say order at least one size down.It looks like since I ordered, the sizing chart has been changed a bit. Unfortunately it was not so when I first ordered. Looking back at my original order right now, I was sent the 11.5 to 12.5 in women's sizes, maybe by mistake.Aside from that, there are some big positives with these. They are extra lightweight, the adhesive on the bottom sole is very firmly affixed. The Velcro strap fit well and was very strong in terms of adhesion. The stitching looks moderately durable and well done. The removable/replaceable foam insert is by far the best quality feature here. They are unbelievably comfortable. I do have very flat feet, so appreciate the mildly thick arch on the inserts. It is like walking on a cloud. Extremely comfortable and I've no doubt it would do much to cushion the sole of the foot while walking on rocks in Rivers and creeks. I may end up tacking the top a bit with a stitch or 2, to fit it flat against the top of my foot, as I worry any strong current might get caught in that top flap(how long with pebbles and extra sand), and cause me some trouble.I have several pair of water socks on hand already, but these were so cute with the Mary Jane style in my favorite color (blue), I was hastened to order them. All the mesh fabrics look durable and very porous, will likely dry quickly. In conclusion, I think these were well worth the $15.99 if one is sent the correct size.Looking forward to trying these out next summer, and will update this listing with the real time performance.

So cute, stylish, but very uncomfortable.
They are okay.I ordersd these shoes, hoping they would be perfect for the beach or any type of activity around water. There are pros and cons to these shoes.Pros:They are really cute. They are very stylishThey are made kind of well, the strapitself holds well in keeping the shoe on.Cons:They are extremely uncomfortable.I did expect that since they were beach shoes there would not be any support, but these are not made well enough and actually hurt wearing them.I have had beach shoes in the past and unfortunately they were more comfortable than these were.I actually could not wear them for a period of time.I use my beach shoes to go into water that I am not familiar with and I felt everything in the water. So cute but disappointing.

Nice looking water shoes 👟
These water shoes are cute in design, and I’m liking the cream color. They match well with most anything. The first thing I noticed on the shoes, is the sleek bottom of these water shoes and was worried about falling. While these shoes do appear to be slick, they were fine walking around my home to get used to them, (I have wooden floors) while doing even better, on concrete at the water park we visited. I kept these on all weekend!I normally wear a woman’s 10 so I ordered the 10–11. I do feel that these water shoes run a bit large and definitely have a wide toe box. So if anything I wish I would’ve sized down. I can definitely still wear them as the Velcro strapping allows you to get a firm fit.Inside there is a mild arch support (which is removable) so that is nice.Much of the shoe is made of a fast drying mesh. The shoes overall are very lightweight and pack up easily to travel with, not adding a lot of bulk.I appreciate the protection these shoes gave, if I stepped on anything sharp, Plus I also just don’t care for how the bottom of the pool feels on my feet.Overall these are a good pick for a water shoe. I did knock a star off because I think they’re a smug overpriced at $16.
