A little too roomy
Normally I would lead a review with the positives, however, shoe sizing is so important that I feel I should mention it first when it's not right. I wear a 12. I ordered these in a 12. However, they feel loose on my feet out of the box. Maybe some thick insoles will help a bit, but even the ankles are too big; I feel a little bit like a kid putting on dad's boots. I admit, I'm a bit skinny, but for slip-ons held in place by elastic, they really should be a bit smaller at the ankle, at least. My son wears a 13 and is not as skinny, so maybe he'll get some use out of them.Other than that, they seem fine. They look quite nice, and the tread is appropriate for work boots. They are surprisingly light and do feel comfortable on the soles, too, though I think maybe the reason they are so light is that the soles are thicker on the outside where you can see them and thinner under the foot, which could have durability consequences. Given this, I think the almost $80 price is a little high.Still, as long as they don't fall apart, they are decent boots.

Steel-toed, faux leather, rubber-soled, clunky, men's, hi-top slip-on boot
these synthetic shoes are neither "lightweight" nor "breathable", as claimed. there's nothing breathable about rubber and p.u.also, these aren't best described the way the seller categorizes them as "work boots" or "safety boots", as they aren't protective enough to genuinely deserve that apellation; and the steel toe part just isn't enough, either.they have a clunkiness and a kind of unappealing look. for what they actually are, i don't see great value at the 67$ otd pricing.i will wear them and i will use them, but not as they're portrayed. the seller's claim that these are "ideal for engineers, lumberjacks, and warehouse staff" is disingenuous, at best. professional level would start with real leather, not p.u., and being more "lightweight" would be a distinct negative, not a positive. no true safety hi-top would be light; by definition, it would have to be heavy and hefty.

Good looking boots, better for casual use
I like the look of these boots - but they seem more appropriate for casual wear than as work boots. The steel toe seems fairly sturdy but the rest of the boot is pretty average. The steel toe is the only reinforced part so they are not as practical if you plan to wear them on a job site with a lot of loose debris and nails scattered around. These are not going to protect you against punctures on the sole of the boot. They are comfortable to wear. Instead of using them ad a work boots, I have been wearing them with jeans when I go out to dinner. They are hood quality fake leather boots. They look good and the fit is good. I just wouldn’t advise anyone to rely on these on a job site.

Decent, Durable and Comfortable Boots That Fit True to Size
I've been “test-wearing” these boots for about a month now and I wear them all day long. They conformed to my feet after the first day and I didn't need to take a break from them like a lot of new boots for the first week or so, needing to skip a day, etc.I wear a size 13 boot when I'm wearing thicker wool socks in the winter and can go down to a size 12 with regular socks and the latter is still a snug and supportive fit.Size 13 with regular socks, if I'm doing anything strenuous, my foot tends to slip in the boot a little, so I like the feel of these boots in size 12 when I am working and being active. They are pretty easy to slip on, although I do need to give the back loop a tug to get them all the way on and, so they are not “step-in” boots, but that goes with the fit being snug. They feel supportive, but don't rub my ankles or top bridge of my foot that can cause soreness after a full day with some other boots I have. The front panel having the elastic portion on the sides allows it to give, which helps with the comfort while still keeping the boot in place. They look nice, but they're not going to trick anyone into thinking they're real leather. They are lighter weight for comfort and not feeling so cumbersome, but still decently durable. The soles clean off easily with a boot scraper or regular floor mat because there's no fine grooves for sand/dirt to get trapped in, which is a problem with another pair of boots I own.So far I am satisfied with the look, fit, wear-ability and durability of the boots overall.I'll continue to wear these boots and report back if I encounter and issues aside from what I think is typical as I usually wear out a pair of boots in less than a year, even rotating between other boots.Shipped and received fast.5- Stars!
