They are true to size. Nice room in toe box. They are light weight for what they are, but you have to remember they are hiking and steel toed. I was very surprised at the quality, very good.Slip and comfort? I've only been in up to 2 hours, great. I did notice my shoe caught on the carpet.

Adorable and Practical

These lightweight, slip resistant shoes are adorable and practical, offering great protection without sacrificing style. The box they come in actually has an manual for the shoes, which I'll admit, was a first for me.Each shoe is very lightweight with lovely purple highlights along the laces and spine of the shoe, as well as a mostly purple tread on the bottom. The slip resistant sole could be better, but as long as you're not working in a kitchen or otherwise walking through grease all day, these should suffice.The upper part of the shoe is made from a breathable material and uniquely, there is no tongue on these shoes, rather you're able to slip them on. I wish the ankle backing of the shoe was a bit more firm and rigid for this design, as the backs can just crumple when you try to slip them on, but at least they included a secure loop in the back to assist in getting them on.I found the fit to be odd. The shoe itself is quite narrow, especially in the middle where your arches are, but the toe compartment feels very large to my feet. I suppose this is done so longer toes won't brush up against the steel toe, and it's definitely better than being squished up against a rough steel all day. My feet are also definitely on the wide side, so things felt a bit tight when trying to slip these on, but that's more about my personal foot than the shoes.Overall, I found them to be comfortable, well cushioned, and supportive, with fantastic protection in the toe area and extremely cute, unlike most steel-toed footwear out there. I hope they continue to hold up with more use, and maybe even get more comfortable once they're fully broken in. Recommended!
