Excellent rubber soles, easy upgrade from the usual flats without destroying your feet
Not a fan of fake leathers because they don’t conform to your feet after use, breathe and generally look obviously fake.These pointy toe mules look more like fabric rather than suede but that’s fine. It’s a comfortable block heel that gives you a bit of height, and although my toes are quite squared off, the pointy toe was still comfortable.Love the non slip rubber soles rather than the hard plastic ones usually at this price. Because of the rubber soles, the lightly padded footbed is comfortable.Looks good with jeans, longer skirts. Fits true to size even with my wide feet. The chocolate brown is perfect for fall and winter because I mostly wear neutrals.

These suede mules from Splendid are so comfortable! The suede is buttery soft and doesn’t lose its shape. The sole is nice and isn’t slippery. The black hasn’t faded at all and they fit true to size. They look great with a dress, and also with jeans. My daughter calls them my work casual shoes. In my opinion they are worth every penny since the quality is really great.

As soon as I slid these on, I said aloud, “ooh, these are good ones.” I am 7 months pregnant and all about comfort these days, and unfortunately style is secondary. Luckily these mules deliver on both. They are a very pretty yet neutral style that can adapt to any dressed up or down outfit. The quality of the leather and overall construction tells me I will definitely get a few years out of them. I wear an 8.5 or 9, and I went with the size 9 on these and they fit great, despite the fact that I’m still trying to figure out if pregnancy is affecting my feet. Walking around the house they didn’t feel like they needed any additional breaking in, and I didn’t slip on the floors or carpet. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable, versatile shoe.

Comfort issue with inside seam
The color of these mule shoes is really nice and exactly as pictured, and they do fit as expected. However, on the inside of the shoe, near the top of the foot down by the toe, there’s a different type of fabric that feels hard because it’s there to keep the shoe’s shape. The problem is that when this fabric ends, it leaves a noticeable seam inside, which is uncomfortable on my foot and noticeable on the top of the shoe. I’m able to wear them, but I’m really hoping it won’t continue to be bothersome. I’ve taken a couple of pictures that show the transition on the outside of the shoe. Other than that, they seem well made and the fit is true to size, but the comfort issue makes them a disappointment for me.
