These are typical rain boots. Flexible sole and rubber feel. The kid needs to wear longer socks not to get a blister, but that should be obvious. They are slightly see through which is kind of neat.

Comfy, great tread, pretty

I got these for my 7 year old daughter. In our family we call these "chicken boots" because we use them for going out to the chicken or goat fields and they WILL get muddy (or other stuff) and live in our garage.These come in a simple plastic bag, no boxing, so I feel like I'm paying for product, not packaging. The boots are a pretty glittery pink that she loves. We always order these type of boots one size up and they fit as expected so run true to size.We don't normally pay this much for kids chicken boots (current price is $20) but in this case feel it was money well spent. The boots are much more comfortable than other plastic boots even when not wearing socks. The tread is fantastic. After a solid 3 days of rain she was able to go down the hill and socialize with the critters and come back without falling . . . something her mother (me) couldn't do in her more expensive chicken boots.Will be buying another pair in her actual size to use as rainboots.

These are really cute with embedded glitter/sparkles. They seem to run true to size.The handles make it easy to slide these on as they are a thick rubber. There is an insole but these would not be comfortable for a long wear. But my daughter mostly likes these for splashing in muddy puddles - so no need to go mucking around for hours in them.
