Beautiful and true to size!

I was so hesitant to buy these based on a previous review I read, but I am so glad I took a chance on them. They are absolutely gorgeous, and seem to fit true to size! These are the type of boot that you wear with a thin liner-type sock; this will keep the boot comfortable, but not add bulk. Something to note: the true sizes on the boots are ranges, not absolutes. If you look at them on the "Spring Step Shoes" website, you can see the size ranges to compare with Amazon's sizing. In my opinion, the fit is closer to the smaller end of the range, and they are not for wide feet. That said, leather will stretch a bit and mold to your foot! And I do recommend breaking them in at home before wearing them out. So many boutique shoes are oversized that I think people have gotten used to the vanity sizing. Know that these fit with regular retail sizing, on the smaller end of the stated range. Happy shopping! :)
