These are the brown leather high top sneakers I was looking for. Wonderfully comfy as soon as I laced them up. Look terrific and for those of us who are looking for a bit of ankle support, why not look good as we get it. These sneakers hit all the bells.
The leather is soft and smooth. They run close to the normal sizing. I wear an 8 - 8 1/2 and bought a 39. They run a little wider than some boots so they fit me better with a thin insole. That also helps with the arch as I think it is very shallow. There isn't a zipper, so they must be unlaced every time you wear them. The tip two eyelets are rings you need to thread the laces through. The sole is flat without much grip. I'm not sure how it would be in snow, I'm guessing slippery. They are good fall boots and are comfortable to wear.
These are well made with a soft, supple leather while also providing nice ankle support. Almost feels like walking barefoot, no break-in time needed. The only drawback is the laces are wax coated and need to be re-tied from time to time. Thought about getting another color, but now all sold out in my size. Definitely worth the extra money!!
