Better Than I Expected, Exactly What I Was Looking For, Well Worth The Money!
I was looking for the classic "Beatle Boot" or a short side zipper boot with a Cuban heel. I read the reviews for "Duke" from Florsheim and "Larado" boots but was not convinced they were any better than the Stacy Adams "Santos" and the "Santos" were almost half the price so I decided to try the Stacy Adams. I am super impressed. The packaging was extremely well done with individual protective bags for each boot and stuffing to keep the boot shape. These boots are made in India and the leather and workmanship look and feel great and best of all they fit perfectly and are super comfortable. I was afraid because I have a wide foot that the regular size might not fit but it fit perfectly. Keep in mind, these are dress boots and are not made for farming or horseback riding. They are not hiking shoes or walking shoes. The leather is soft and they will show skuffs and get torn up if you use them for casual everyday use. I purchased these for performing on stage and was a little concerned that they might get uncomfortable after 4 hours of standing on my feet. I was relieved to find they have enough support keep me rocking all night. Thumbs up!

Elegant dress or every day boot….
This model boot by Stacy Adam is first class. Fits beautifully, looks great! The only variable is the cognac brown color is not as dark a brown as the photographs suggest. The actual boot is a medium orangey brown, not a deep dark walnut brown .Very comfortable, more than high cowboy boots, fit perfectly under slim cut, boot cut jeans.I like them so much, I am ordering a second pair in black. Excellent value at $99-100.00The heel is tall making wearer appear about 1” taller. They do take a couple of minutes to get used to walking naturally with the higher heel.Well worth the purchase!

Order smaller (REVIEW UPDATED).
First order was way too large. Returned the 11 M and reordered in 10 M. My foot measures between 10.5 M and 11 M. UPDATE: Received the 10 M, and they fit about right. Maybe, a tiny bit loose in the width, but okay. Just right in length. They look great. They appear to be quality and well made. I just hope I can get used to walking around with the heel being as high as it is. To me the color is standard brown--maybe a little lighter than in the picture--but too close to argue. Someone reviewed that there wasn't enough arch support--I don't agree. Changed my rating from one star to four. (PS: The return of the 11 M, and the refund was very quick and painless--no muss, no fuss. Take care not to mess up the packaging when you open it--on every item.)

Two for two and poor customer service
I usually don’t do this but after what I just saw as a replacement! I have a few years old black set of these Stacy Adam’s boots and they are getting pretty worn but have been GREAT! So I decided to get a new pair of brown. The came in a beautiful Stacy Adam’s box, each boot in its own sleeve to protect it. Of course the tissue and cardboard inside each shoe and a second one in the boot part. I wore them for a full 13 hour shift. Sure my feet hurt but who’s would not after 13 hours. The next morning I put my new boots on and the left one hurts. I walk on it a bit and tell my wife. I take off the left shoe to find a raised ridge in the insole at the bottom of the zipper. You can definitely feel the narrow ridge just at where the back of my arch would go. The right shoe was smooth and perfect no issues. I told my wife we need to send them back. My fife does the return and takes them to Kolhs. Next day while I am at work she texts my new shoes got delivered. I think wow good service! Get home after another long shift and see a box half the size of the original new box my first shoes just came in, no markings nothing. I open the box and there are two boots but with just tissue paper around them. Not like the new ones from a few days ago. The first thing I noticed was the boot upper was bent like it had been worn on both shoes! I looked at the soles and heals and these appeared new and unworn. But I knew the uppers showed signs of wear. I felt inside the shoes. What are the odds but the left shoe has a big bump at the back where the back of your arch would go! No not exactly like the first pair this was more round. You could feel around it 360 degrees. Not only were my NEW shoes replaced but with another faulty refurbished pair with a defect! Stacy Adam’s had a good reputation with me and I have had at least three pair. Today I am tired, mad and wondering if I can trust asking for another replacement pair or just my money back? When I say there is a defect and return an item I expect a brand new replacement just like the original! If this. Is read by anyone and your processing my return, you better make sure I receive a brand new pair or shoes just like the originals and I sure hope defect free! I would hope that there is not a left shoe issue with these shoes.David

Great Boot,Be Careful with the Zipper
Love the boot, i typically wear florsheim duke boots but stacy adams is known for better style .since the two companies are related i thought why not?Great boot, leather is OK not the best but presentable and holds a shine. After two months of wearing them twice or three times a week the zipper slide on one broke. Unfortunately its not a single piece zipper slide and the handle couldnt be reconnected as the spring clip that holds it in place flew out and couldnt relocate.Anyway great boots unfortunate that they broke so soon
