Great affordable option for work shoes

Good Protection and Wide Comfort 👍
These are pretty decent. I don't punch the clock in steel toes daily, but I need a reliable pair for the occasional job site walk-throughs and heavy lifting around the property. These feel good. They’re built touch, and ready to take a beating. The sole has the kind of grip you need. The toe protection is serious, but they managed to keep the overall profile from looking like a cinder block.They certainly have some heft, but that's what you sign up for with proper safety footwear. No complaints there. The cushioning is adequate, and the extra wide fit really seals the deal for comfort over a full day. I usually wear a 10.5 wide but ordered an 11. Love the wide fit for sure.I like the look, it's clean and no-nonsense. Black on black, subtle contrast. They definitely pass the eye test better than most work boots out there. The laces and stitching look like they’ll hold up. Comfortable, good looking, safety toe.
These shoes are really nice!They have a solid black color that is deep, and consistent. The leather material is soft and looks great. The heels and toes are reinforced with an extra layer of more rigid leather. The ankle padding is soft and comfortable.The laces are heavy duty and long enough, but lot so long to drag the floor and be a hazard. The tongue is padded and comfortable, and it has a keeper for the laces to run through to help keep it centered. The soles are quiet and non marking, and are slip resistant. The treads are not super aggressive, but give good grip on most surfaces. There are strong loops at the heels for helping pull them on. All of the stitching is well done and neatI normally wear a size 10 or 10.5 medium, but I'm aware that safety toe shoes tend to run a bit small. I ordered the 11 wide, and they are a good fit for me, so you might want to size up a bit, especially if you wear thicker socks. There is a thin insole, so you may want to upgrade to more supportive versions if you need additional support.As far as comfort, these shoes feel fully broken in in less than an hour. I know that's not actually true, but they aren't stuff and restrictive like so many new shoes are. Especially safety toe shoes.If your job requires skip resist shoes, safety toes, or simply all black colors, these are a solid choice.

Comfy, Durable, Protective Shoe
My old pair of everyday wear shoes was getting pretty rough after a couple of years, so I was pleased to see this Elvalesoe Steel Toe Shoe for review. I first off want to say that I don't have any particular need for a steel toe shoe vs. any other shoe, and I work a sedentary office job, but I do get out and walk around fairly often, so this review is simply from the perspective of a casual wearer.These shoes arrived in some plastic wrap, nothing too fancy. I have never heard of this brand and honestly my expectations weren't high. I was hoping they would just be wearable. I typically wear a size 10.5 wide, I got the 11 (US) because it was the closest to my normal shoe size available for review. The shoes honestly passed the look test for me. The majority of the top of the shoe is made of a water resistant smooth, almost pleathery material. The toe of the shoe felt well enforced and sturdy with the steel toe in front. The bottoms of the shows are nicely textured to hopefully provide some slip protection, though I've seen better (I live in the north where there is now snow and ice, just so you know).So the shoes looked alright, but it was time to wear them. I was expecting something to be off, but it really wasn't. These aren't considered 'wide' shoes but my feet felt comfortable in them. The shoes do have a bit of heft to them due to the steel toe as you might imagine but they felt secure in a good way and not a burdensome way, and are designed for protection, but they did not feel overly cumbersome. My only criticisms of them are that I went travelling in these through three different airports totaling 7 hours which is probably the most I've worn them in a single setting, and my feet did feel a bit uncomfortable after that, likely because the arch support is minimal. Price wise, based on a quick 1 min search I find these priced a bit higher than some name brand competitors, which is my main reason for docking a star.Conclusion: My expectations for these shoes were low, but honestly they have met my expectations for a respectable looking solid everyday shoe for my purposes. They certainly feel protective, and for someone like me who isn't on my feet all day but runs errands, goes on walks, or does yardwork these seem to work great for me. They have been durable so far, provide some heft, and are comfortable for wearing for a couple hours at a time or less. While the quality exceeded my expectations, I do wish they were priced a little lower than some name brand competitors, and I could see someone who needs arch support and is working on their feet all day possibly wanting a different fit. However, as a casual user I am still satisfied with these shoes and wear them at least once almost daily, so I do recommend them if you find that the value is there for you.
