Cheap and not made well. Don't waste your money!
I was not impressed with these shoes, at all. The steel toe actually stuck up inside the shoe above where the canvas would lay so they looked absolutely ridiculous. When worn, the steel toe was not comfy either, like they were installed after the shoe was made and glued in crooked. It felt like the front of the toe on one of the shoes was facing 11 o'clock instead of 12 o'clock I would never have been able to wear these shoes around anywhere. They are sized strangely, too. I wear a 7.5, had to order an 8 because they didn't have my size and they fit like mans shoe in women's size. I was not impressed and did not even try to wear them more than trying them on. They looked and felt cheap. I would never trust them to protect my toes and they didn't look attractive enough to wear as regular everyday shoes.

Not bad, but not real high-quality either; seems like assembly line QC issues
We wanted to really love these, but they just feel a little cheap. The stitching and molding are about as far from a handmade feel as you can get. They seem like they were rushed through an assembly line. They're fairly comfortable and are very lightweight, but we can't get past the slightly bulging center of the sole and the other little inconsistencies.

Ahhh...
These came just in time, first because I had *just spied a big hole in my work shoes, and second because I was able to retrieve and put these shoes on right before I left for work. My initial reaction was, wow, these are so easy, and ahhh ... They are super comfortable, but the nodules inside the removable insole sent me over the moon. Once I started walking, I worried that my big toe hitting against the composite material would cause me pain and have me limping through my shift, but it was a superb recovery! I had a great shift in these, again super comfortable and lightweight. My shift is only 3 hours, but it's cleaning so it's 3 hours of continuous movement; I was even mindful of not getting them too dirty to preserve them because they are also attractive. If these hold up, I would absolutely return to purchase. I appreciated the little cards, mainly the informational one about composite vs steel toe. I have a pair of steel toe sneakers and they feel and look like clunky clown shoes, but this is my first time with composite. I'm not sure why the size markers inside the shoes were already faded before I wore them, but I'm happy with these shoes. They also came with cardboard-looking shoe trees. Thanks Catoe/Amazon.
