At least for my feet, these boots fit well enough and never cause any sort of discomfort because they're wide enough and they have the support where it's needed. I wouldn't exactly label these as a work boot. I've tried standing in them for 9 hours. The results were unsatisfactory to say the least. These are more like a rain boot than a work boot. People think that if you stick a composite toe in something it makes it work boot. No it just makes it safer. On me these look like something I would wear if I rode a motorcycle whether it be a street bike or a mountain bike. Coincidentally I ride both. I'm not sure what the tab is on the top back of the boot. Well it broke without much effort. I suppose that takes up any slack. Typically, EVA rubber doesn't create much slack since that's kind of what most of this boot is made of which is why it is so lightweight and keeps the price low. But doesn't say much for durability. If you want long lasting boots that are stylish and durable you would have to go with leather. I suppose this would keep your feet dry if you worked in very damp conditions. But if you wear them or any footwear more than 8 hours I can't predict how dry your feet can be. I don't think any footwear can keep your feet dry. I do like the style although the orange and royal blue on the heel doesn't make much sense unless you're a superhero. Additionally, putting a 3M logo on the outside of the boot would make me not want to buy these. *Apply Black marker* The other logo is appropriately placed and these look like they were bonded not sewn to the sole. I see a lot of messy glue and no thread. It's hard to overlook the glue but again a little black marker should balance that out maybe a little bit of royal blue too. Depending on which version you have. I don't have any compelling complaints about this item. All I really am concerned about is the duration of durability. These must last at least one year for the price listed.

The oil resistant soles also employ an Steel shank midsole to protect you from unexpected punctures you may run across on the job.Their generous and well integrated Steel Toe does an amazing job protecting you from potential crush injuries and impacts.The materials chosen to construct the boots exterior allow for immediate comfort without the need for a "Break-in" period typical of most work boots of this caliber.The Neoprene uppers are bonded and transition perfectly to the thick rubber lower soles to provide an impressive level of waterproofing. Your feet stay warm, comfortable and dry all day long with zero signs of water intrusion in the wettest of conditions.The final party piece is the substantial integrated boot "kick-off" wedge on the back of each boot behind the heel of the sole. This allows you to push off the boots without having to touch, pull or tug to remove them. Simply push down on the wedge with the opposite boot and they slide right off. No muss, no fuss.Overall I couldn't be more impressed with the fit, finish, design and performance of these boots.
