Outstanding work boots, stylish in a Western way.
This being my second pair of CVDSHU boots, I did the right thing and went up half a size. The fit is perfect.The insoles are, first off, incredibly comfy, as is the lining. I have never had a pair of steel toed boots that felt this comfortable right out of the box.The sole and heel are strong, but have an almost sneaker like padding effect. Tread has excellent traction from tile to gravel.Leather is a thick grain, with good stitching, and although the page for them doesn't say it, these are definitely snake bite proof.The steel toes do not pinch in the slightest. Again, I have never had a steel toed pair this comfortable.I haven't really stopped wearing these for the last few days. They're very waterproof, and lined enough for even some colder weather. I wouldn't call these snow boots, but they would do in a pinch. Might not be great in the worst heat of summer, but for all other wear, fantastic. I will probably buy another pair after these eventually wear out.

Solid Construction, Problematic Fit
These boots appear to be very good quality with thick leather and solid stitching. Unfortunately, they do not fit me properly. I could not get my right foot into the boot at all unless I removed the insole, and even then it took a lot of effort. I was hoping the leather might stretch with wear, but in my experience shoes that hurt from the start rarely improve enough to fix a major fit issue.The trouble is the transition from the shaft to the instep. That area is simply too narrow for my foot to pass through. I am 6'6" and wear a size 13. The size chart mentions ordering a half size up if you have a high instep, although I never thought mine was unusually high. Half sizes were not available, and size 13 was the largest option at the time of purchase.If your instep is on the higher side, keep in mind you may need to size up significantly. After removing the cushioned insoles, I was finally able to pull the boots on, and once they were on, the fit in both width and length was fine. The instep also felt comfortable. The problem was simply getting my foot past that tight entry point. Without the insoles, though, the overall comfort was noticeably reduced.

Great quality, sized ~1/2 size small.
Update: I was able to get the boots in size 13 and they fit great, so I updated the rating. If you are on the fence, go up a size, these fit more like a 12.5 than a 13. They take a little effort to get on and off, like a cowboy boot should once on they are comfortable with well cushioned heel.These seem like nice boots, unfortunately I can't tell for sure. I generally wear a 12.5, but since most shoes don't come in 1/2 sizes above 12 I generally get 13. However after getting a few 13 boots on amazon and them all being too big I decided to go for 12 this time. They are much too small. I contacted CVDSHU using the email in the package 1 week ago and have not received a response at all.These have short "tubes" i.e. the top does not go up as far as normal cowboy boots.The whole boot appears to be leather, unlike some others where the bottom is leather, but the top is fake leather.

Left boot defective at the toe
Inside the left boot all the way at the toe, on both the top and the bottom of the toe, the material is very loose. Thus, resulting in the toes being somewhat smushed. It may help to put something solid inside to hopefully train the material away from the toes, but this should not be necessary in any footwear, and I've never experienced it ever before.Now, the good. These boots appear to be high quality, and the material used on the outside is very nice. They were clearly oiled at some point, because there are many liners in the box and there's some residue on them which is good. The sizing was accurate, and one of the boots fits very nicely and is quite comfortable.

High quality work boot
These are a very high quality work boot. The leather in the shaft of the boot is very thick and high quality. The soles are very thick with amazing non skid soles. Having the steel toe and waterproofing are added bonuses. The have a thick and high quality in sole that make it feel like a cloud. The do for a bit tight but that’s to be expected until they are broken in. The one down side is they are healed to slip your foot in. It takes real effort and you get an actual workout trying to get them on. Then once you take them off the in sole comes out sometimes. These remind me of ariats or Justin’s.

Stylish and Practical
These work boots are functional with steel toes and a tough Goodyear welt that should last. They’ve got a 4-layer waterproof system and a sturdy 10-inch upper to keep your feet dry and comfy all day. Very impressive boots.
These are really snazzy looking boots. They are so well-made. I’m extremely impressed.Made of pure leather, they look undeniably attractive. Though they’re listed as work boots I wear them as casual wear, and I find them to be exceptional.They’re super light for work boots that are indeed waterproof. And the tow plate seems quite sturdy, though I haven’t had a chance or a reason or desire to run the chance of scuffing my boots by researching it.I had a Dickens of a time getting them on the first time, but once I got it adjusted, they’re easy enough to get on.These are very impressive boots for the price. I think it’s a shame to waste them as work boots when they’re so nice looking, but you do you. I recommend these very much.
