Great chunky loafers!
Okay, a lot of people dissed these loafers. But they are really nice. Substantial & well made - great value too. I am a true 7.5. These do NOT come in 1/2 sizes. So realizing that I have foot issues - I chose to size up. I bought the 8. They're loose on me, but I plan to wear socks with them - and honestly, I'd rather them be a little big on me than too tight. So it's your choice, but my recommendation is if you are in between - not to size down...but if you're a 7 half the time, then get the 7. I feel that these run true to size. They are real leather and will stretch. Good luck!

Comfortable
These shoes are very comfortable. Great quality & super cute. I normally wear a size 8 in any shoes that I wear socks with & these run a tiny bit big, but not enough to make it awkward. I could just wear a thicker sock. The heel is 1.5" and the front is 1". The soles are slip resistant and sturdy.

Beautiful shoes
I ignored my suggested size of 8.5 and ordered my regular size 9M. I had to use a shoe horn to get them on. I have a high instep. But they fit well after I got them on. I didn’t notice the little gold embellishment on them in the picture. I don’t like hardware/ornaments/embellishments on my shoes, but this is very subtle and can barely be seen. The shoes are real leather which is hard to find these days especially at this price. The leather is soft. My only issue, other than having to use a shoe horn, is that they are heavy. I will walk around the house in them for a few days to determine if I will need to return them due to the weight. They look great with both straight leg and wide leg jeans.UPDATEI could not always get the shoes on with the shoe horn. I went up 1/2 size and they were too large. Had to return.

NOT like the OG 90s Maddens
This may be my first review.I had these, or so I thought they were still, in the 90s and LOVED them. These are NOT the same ones from then. They feel super cheap. And run VERY small. I went up a half size from comments and could barely get them on. They look cheap as heck too. NOT like the 90s version of that is what you’re looking for.

Steve Madden rarely disapoints
I love the look. The shoe is sturdy, relatively easy to get on (you won't be able to just slide your foot in while standing up) you will need to use your hand to assist, but once on they are very comfortable and goes with so many outfits. I didn't think they would be as thick of a sole as they are and was concerned about the look with some outfits - but they actually look very nice with most.My only issue is that the material inside of the back is getting that texture with fuzz that one would use a fuzz shaver to remove. That might be because I often wear them with my bare feet instead of with socks/stocking. NOT a deal breaker at all.I would recommend to friends to purchase

Narrow
Got these at a great discount so I’m going to keep them but they run narrow, are really difficult to get on, and are surprisingly heavy. But I love the style and they are real leather so I’m hoping to be able to break them in and loosen them up enough to make them comfortable to wear regularly. They seem sturdy so I expect they should hold up for a while.

I was excited to get these, especially since I got a deal on genuine leather and quality brand. However, after putting them on and looking down, the toe box area stitching is noticeably two different sizes. And the area where the penny slot is there is a silver metal insert and near that insert there appears to be what looks like bad trimming by the manufacturer. These are also just big enough they slip off the heels and being they are pretty heavy there no way to avoid that, even after heel inserts. Despite a nice lug sole, the bottom of the lug is harder so they’re still slippery and they are super squeaky on hard floors. I have returned
