Great boots!
I purchased these boots for a trip, was looking for lug sole boots. These have been the most comfortable boots and also resistant. Saying resistant because I used on a 25 days trip, used these boots pretty much every day for long walks, during rain, sidewalks with snow ( has great grip, please notice this is not a snow boot), the boots and sole looks exactly the same as they day that I got those. Also very easy to put on since is has a side zipper. Very happy with my purchase.

wanted to love but so uncomfortable
at first i loved these boots. everything i was looking for and just really delivered in comfort. but after one long wear i noticed that the sole of the shoe was really giving to the pressure of my weight on them. like i could feel them almost buckle? and that feels kind of counter productive to the whole point of a chunky healed/soled shoe. i'm so disappointed because i usually love steve madden so much and these were just a dream for the eyes but ultimately a bust

Narrow toe box, but pretty
I can’t talk too much to durability like some other reviews. I tried them on and wore them for 2 minutes strutting around my house. The packaging is beautiful and I love them, but the toe box is too narrow for me. They weren’t comfortable, even just trying them on. I don’t think sizing up would help. My foot isn’t very wide, but it isn’t narrow either. Bottom line, I think they’d be worth it for someone with narrow feet. Aesthetically beautiful, just not a good fit for me. Also, not real leather! (In case you weren’t sure). Look just like the pictures, and feel like they would be good quality.
