Fantastic Quality
These are ADORABLE! Much cuter than I anticipated. I purchased these in 3W after realizing I need a second pair of "real" shoes for my little girl. She has the Stride Rite "Barkley" sneaker in size 3 with plenty of room for growth lengthwise but they are a bit of a struggle to slide on her foot, so I figured I would try a 3 WIDE in these Stride Rites. When I compare the two different shoes, these are about a 1/2 inch shorter than the pair of sneakers of the same size, so she barely has room for growth once she has another spurt. In reality, I would've sent them back for a larger size, but the price was CRAZY LOW for 3W and jumped up $35 more for size 4. I love a deal when it works out in your favor. She'll keep these and wear them for a bit. Someone suggested them for outdoor use. I second that. They will wipe off much more easily than her suede sneakers do.

Good "first steps" shoes
We did the "try before you buy" feature with these shoes and a few others to see which ones worked best for my baby's feet and these ones were the best. They have a good round shape for chubby baby feet, the Velcro strap is strong enough for her not to rip the shoes off as soon as we get in the car, the rubber on the bottom that wraps up the front helps her feet to grip the floor when she's taking her wobbly steps. Cute design matches all of her outfits.
