Perfect fit, so comfortable
My daughter is almost two, and has always resented wearing socks and shoes (or long sleeves, or sometimes pants). We've had the best luck with Stride Rite shoes. Unfortunately, my older daughter is hard on shoes, so we didn't hand down any of her Stride Rite shoes larger than a size 4.5 or so. (I really don't fault the shoes...she just wears shoes to bits.)At any rate, my daughter had been wearing sandals all summer, and was flat-out refusing to go back to socks and shoes for fall. I came online to find a size 6 Mary Jane shoe like she had worn last winter.I came across these instead, and while the gold color would not have been my first pick, the price was right. She was so excited when they arrived, and quickly wanted to put them on...for about 30 seconds.But the next morning, she let me put them on when she was getting dressed, and she has willingly worn them daily since then. I came back last week to order the silver pair.The shoes have held up for a month, and look nearly new. She had very average (not wide) feet and can put these on by herself. (Right in the middle of that "I do it" phase, so I appreciate that.)I'm a bit bummed that these don't appear to be available in a larger size, so we'll be on the lookout for a new shoes in a few months. But if these hold up (as they should...this one isn't nearly as rough on shoes) we'll use them for her little sister as well. (Or be back to get her own pair.)

Perfect first pair of shoes for walking infant!
These are a MUST for any beginning walker. I was recommended Easy Strides by my sister who had lots of trouble finding a shoe that would fit her daughter’s wide foot AND stay on. From day one my daughter had no problem wearing these shoes and would actually go grab them and sit and try to put them on her herself. They were perfect for a beginning Walker and now that she is starting to trot they still are holding up and working fabulously. We have had these shoes a couple of months and my impressions so far are WOW these are durable. The shoes themselves are machine washable and the Velcro itself has not worn due to wear and tear. Oh and did I mention they have a removable insert for wide feet? Don’t be hesitant buy these shoes they are soooo worth the money.

Great walking shoes
This is a great walking shoe, fits wonderfully and is true to size. I purchased for my granddaughter who starting walking at 6 months old and is pigeon toed, so having owned my own children's shoe store previously, I corrected many children by putting the shoes on the opposite feet and a young age when their feet and bones are still so soft and malleable. My granddaughter didn't wear shoes until a year old and these shoes being put on opposite feet does the trick when she is walking, corrects her feet and you can't even tell they are on the opposite feet. They are leather and firm but still very flexible. I also bought the Pedag Bambini leather inserts which helps as well.

Great shoe for those busy toddlers on the go. For one, the soles have the right amount of traction to help prevent falls. My g’daughter has only been walking for a month and I noticed a big improvement in her ability to stabilize herself when making sudden movements. She quickly became confident wearing these and seemed to run more confidently and that new found freedom made for a happier baby. The cushion insert is removable should your toddler have wide feet. I love these and wish they made them in larger sizes.

Perfect 1st walking shoes for my 10m old!
So happy I bought these I had to write a review an hour after receiving them. My daughter is 10 months & has been taking steps on her own but only barefoot & would crawl in whatever shoes I put her in. Realized too u really need to do the the sizing right by taping the ruler to the floor against the wall. Between her 2 feet she was between a 4 & 5 so I got 4.5m, was perfect fitting with toe wiggle room. She walked all over the house by holding my hands or even letting go sometimes...she never did that before! Clearly these shoes helped give her walking confidence cuz she let me lead her outside & even went on the grass! I was just supporting & letting her pick where to go. Yup folks wasn’t lying bout Stride Rite, solid baby shoe. I will purchase more as Amazon gets better looking ones, but currently in love with these Rose gold ones

Great shoe, wish it came wider and in more sizes
These are absolutely adorable! I really like the athletic capability of this otherwise Mary Jane shoe. The only reason I dropped off the star is because these are labeled as fit wide feet but this is only if you pull out the insoles. I found this to be disappointing and a bit of a reduction in comfort and quality. Meanwhile the shoe remained narrow for even a medium (B) width shoe. Because of how narrow they were they started to rub on my kid’s side of big toe and pinky toe within just a few weeks of wear until we decided it was not worth getting calluses at such a young age.
