I have two granddaughters, current ages 2 and 4. We have these Stride Rite sandals in every size up to 12.5. The younger sister wears the hand-me-downs; they are durable and long-lasting. Once I purchased a second hand pair and they lasted just as well. (Once I purchased another brand and the material or the thread became stringy and untidy.) The Stride Rite sandals wash up well in the sink with a stiff brush. We like the comfort and support for walking/ running. They go with everything. The fisherman style protects their little toes.

These are the best summer sandals for littles! The quality is excellent with good foot support. So many toddler sandals are so flimsy, but these have great cushioning, a durable sole, and thick leather straps. They have a very classic look; you can wear them with anything. I buy a pair for both my girls every summer!

These are naturally wide and big
My daughter is normally 7 1/2 w, but that was crazy wide. we had to go to 7 for it to fit, so keep that in mind.Otherwise, she likes the show. It has a Velcro strap (even thought that is not obvious from the pic) so my toddler likes to try and put them on her self. The foam support is amazing. My daughter can run and jump in these, but they are still cool enough for summer. She's been rough on them for about a week now, and they still look really white and holding up, the quality seems top notch.

Best sandals for active toddler!
We have bought Stride Rite shoes since she began walking because of their amazing comfort and support. I ordered and returned four other pairs of sandals before finally ordering these. They are super cushiony and have arch support, which is great! This is a quality sandal all around. Our toddler is super active and these sandals have never given her blisters or left any kind of marks (even when it’s super hot outside and her feet sweat). She actually chooses these shoes over other pairs a lot of the time. I was hesitant about ordering white shoes, but they wipe clean and go with everything (shorts, leggings and dresses). We returned the “medium” with cause our little one has chunky feet, so we went with the “wide.”

Since the majority of the stores are closing, I was able to find these sandals on Amazon. The problem was knowing what size my daughter is. I bought her a size 5 since I was told by the Stride employee after measuring her feet that she was a size 5. I received the sandals and are cute and you can see the cushion on them, but unfortunately they were too big.
