These shoes are fantastic! They’re lightweight, durable, great quality, and true to size! Although the description says boys, they’re pretty unisex in design. I bought these for my daughter for cheerleading since we had such a hard time finding all white cheer shoes that would fit her orthotic insoles. We purchased size 1 XW and the orthotics fit beautifully in this width. She says they’re comfortable, so that’s definitely a win! Very pleased.
I have bought these for my child five years in a row. Stride rite is a quality brand known for supporting a child’s growing feet. You can’t beat the price. They’re not pretty, but they are the perfect uniform shoe: durable, washable, with great foot support.
Daughter states they hurt her heels but she can be picky. I see no marks on her heels. They appear to fit.
They are really washable and look great afterwards. This brand also carries Wide options. My child (9) has been wearing this brand since she was a toddler. I highly recommend them. She loves them because they are comfortable and I love them because they are durable, especially for everyday school. We buy them in white.
I bought this shoe over a year ago at the beginning of the school year after seeing a review from a parent stating that the shoe lasts all school year. Stride Rite is known for great shoes. My son loved these shoes so much he asked for the exact same pair again for this school year. I am just now replacing them meaning he went a year and a half before we had to buy new shoes due to his foot getting larger. They last all school year! Technically, we lasted almost 2 school years before replacing the shoes.
These are a little too big for me but they are very comfortable!
My 9 yr old is very happy w this. Works as a semi-dress shoe and knockaround shoe because it is black. When he first got it, he started complaining about pain on the top of his foot — so I cut the little strap on the shoe that you can find between the 2nd and 3rd eye hole (intended to keep the laces tight nearer the toes) and now he has no more complaints.
