Perfect width and size for my son's HAFO's. My only thing is that I had to buy longer shoelaces because the bow was tiny and kept coming undone. Well made shoes. He's had them for a month and a half and they are holding up great! Removed insoles to give the extra depth needed. Love it.
So, six kids in, it's been a while since I had to deal with the dreaded "wide foot that fits no shoe". I don't even know where these babies got such slim, straight feet. But this last one? Not even a little. My 3 year old has high arches (or maybe it's high bridges? the top bit), and a wide little sausage foot. It's been difficult to maintain footwear for this pandemic baby....and he is mostly home, but likes to play outside.Now, his stride rites he outgrew we're 10w. And they were not too short, just too narrow. Which, of course, means an 11w is out of the question. So I scoured the internet and eventually ended up back on Amazon.They fit! Now, I am not in love with the strings, the last pair were elastic bands followed by Velcro. These, on his foot, I have to loosen all the way down, like Chuck Taylors.... which is a lot of work, dressing a moving target. These round laces also have to be double knotted each time, or they will be coming untied. But then I tighten the laces and we have success.He runs. He jumps. He climbs. He can not be stopped. Double wide, huh? Challenge accepted!
Good sneakers. Fit perfectly. Had to replace the laces almost immediately. But, I would recommend them. Just know that you will probably have to get another set of laces, as these laces fell apart within two weeks of wear.
Such a cute and comfortable shoe for my grand daughter. She wears them to daycare everyday and they are holding up like new.
My 4yr old has very wide feet and requires to wear an orthopedic insole. These shoes are perfect for her, the special insole is easy to place in her shoes. The fact that 12 double wide has adjustable laces also helps me make it more comfortable for her. Love these shoes, she uses everyday and no complaints so far.
This shoe has held up well to typical 8-year-old energy and activities, which is a great deal more than I can say for the last brand we tried. My kid finds the extra wide width very comfortable and happily wears the shoes. The only down side is the round laces which make it especially difficult for kids new to lace tying to keep their laces tied. It’s become an opportunity to learn about double knots in our house. After disappointments with other brands, we’ll be looking for the next size up in this shoe when the time comes.
These are good shoes but not as pictured. These shoes have a velcro strap for the closure. My son specifically asked for lace-up shoes. We've been having a hard time finding affordable lace-ups in his size that come in wide. We were excited when we thought we found them here.Other than feeling disappointed from the bait and switch, the shoes look nice, fit well, and are of good quality. If the pictures on the listing were accurate, they would get 5 stars.
