The shoe is the right size but way too big for her foot
WE ordered a size 4 which My daughter wears a size 4 shoe and hasn’t had an issue like this. These shoes are really pretty and seem really well made, but as you can see they are way to big around the foot. The strap on the side is Velcro and cant be adjusted any smaller/tighter. The straps over the toes are way too far off her foot too. Even if her foot grew a half inch more I think these would be way too big over the foot. Im bummed they didnt work.

Party shoes for a little princess
This review is for the silver variation of these shoes.They look very nice on our daughter's feet. These are her princess shoes. The hill is quite high for a kid, so be aware of this. Practice will be required to walk comfortably, and safely.They appear to be well built. Though she has only used them a few times. They still look new. No lost stitches or unglued parts.We appreciate the Velcro on the adjustment strap. It is a lot easier to secure and remove it than a traditional strap and clasp. Very well thought for a kid shoe.

Daughter loves them
My daughter currently wears size 4-4.5 in kids shoes, so I ordered size 5 big kid in these sandals and they fit her with growing room.
