Comfortable on the first day.
Ok, to me one of the best tests for a shoe is does it need to be broken in or worn in before use. These were comfortable almost 8 hours out of the box, no rubbing, no sore spots. To me they didn't feel "big" or clunky at all like some safety shoes, didn't trip over my toes. The first time or two you put them on they are hard to get your ankle in as the top does not stretch, but then they fit your foot great once you pull them on. Very impressive. Fit to size I ordered, very happy for the 50 bucks.Followup because I saw them on Vine, I am a Vine reviewer but bought these before I entered the program. I have been wearing these shoes in the bakery I work at for over 5 months now (12 hour shifts), they still have tread, have not worn uneven and probably have another month or two left before they will need to be replaced. They are still comfortable and supporting my legs and back nicely. Did I mention I am almost 70 years old, these are good shoes and I could not do my job without them or similar. Still 5 stars.

Great shoes!
I was a postal carrier, and used these to help stay comfy and safe. The nonslip isn't great, and they are def heavier than they advertise. But they kept me safe, and were comfy once I swapped out the crappy insoles they came with for some runner insoles. I walked in these for 8-12 hours a day, and they are so much better than just sneakers. For the $50 ish I spent, they saved me so much pain! Totally worth it! Def not indestructible, but the steel toes and thick soles were awesome. I do have to say, the tread wore out quickly, but they were worth every penny. Def recommend for people on their feet, maybe not so much if you have to walk 14+ miles a day lol. I still love them

A plus and a minus
Its a nice looking and about as comfortable as a steel toe shoe can be. The only negative would be that they are undstandably a little toe heavy and have to be gotten used to , to keep from clomping.

Great Value - Excellent Quality!!!!! Save 50% Off Name Brands
I was skeptical of purchasing these but wanted a second pair of work shoes to alternate with my “name brand” work-shoes (Timberland Work Pros). The TIMBERLAND Work Pros are comfortable however the build quality leaves them vulnerable with the soft heel and the material seemed to rip easily. The Suadex to my surprise offer a better build quality with a steel toe and the rubber isn’t wearing nearly as fast as the TIMBERLANDS. I actually wear the Suadex more because they don’t seem to wear as quickly. I was reluctant at first wearing a shoe named Suadex…but now I don’t really care as they seem very reliable in a challenging work environment and I get peace of mind with the steel toes….and all of this paying half of what I paid for a name brand competitor. Glad I gave these a chance.

Best for a more stationary job.
These shoes came in exactly as pictured, and held up okay for the price. My husband works in home construction and needed something for every job. The bulk of the shoe held up for the most part, but we purchased in September and after 3 months the back outer sole detached from the shoe and you can stick your finger through the shoe. He squats moves a ton at work and they were very comfortable, but just didn't hold up. Again they were great for the safety toe, and price, but I wouldn't recommend for someone who works construction and needs something to last.

NOT SLIP RESISTANT!!! UPDATE. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. COMPLETE JUNK
UPDATE: Tried to use them on days where it would be dry so I could get some use out of them. Not even a month and the composite toe has crimped over so it touches my foot, and the inside fabric is torn. What a huge mistake on thinking a $30 shoe would last. Complete junk. Dont waste your money. The only way these are indestructible would be if you left them in the box on the shelf and that is not a guarantee either.Thought it was just because they were new but 1st day mopped my concrete floor and it was like I was walking on ice. So I decided to wear them all day as opposed to just at work. After almost a week of wearing them, mopped my floor again and down I went. Somehow they are even more slippery. It is lightweight, the toe is protected, mesh seems to dissipate heat somewhat, but they are dangerous when on water and/or oil residue. The previous $120 shoes (different brand) were absolutely slip resistant over the same identical surface. They are a $40 shoe but nothing more. If safety and slip resistance are an important factor in work shoes, then I suggest you look elsewhere. Or I will sell you mine (grey size 11) for $30 shipped cause they are off my feet as of today.
