I love these shoes for my little one
I love these shoes for my little one. She has very small and narrow feet for her age. I ordered these shoes when she was 14 months and the size 3 was too large (at the time she was wearing a 3.5-4 in stride rite shoes for reference). The size 2 fit perfectly. Being a new walker at the time I appreciated how thick the sole was for extra support. She is now 17 months and her toes are starting to go over the front, so I will be ordering these again in the next size up.Her teachers at pre-school said that when she first started wearing them they would rub a little and cause red spots. But it only took a few wears for them to stretch a bit and fit her more comfortably. Now she doesn't seem to have any issues with them.The ONLY con in my opinion is that the buckle is not super easy to put on, which can sometimes be frustrating with a wiggling toddler. But I like that they aren't as easy to take off (and throw) as her velcro shoes!She has gotten them wet and worn them to the beach and they are easy to wipe off and still look great.They are a perfect classic sandal that goes with anything! Highly recommend

Super cute and good quality sandals. However as many have mentioned the sizing is ridiculous. My daughter just turned one and based on other reviews I ordered her a 2 instead of her normal 3. The length is perfect with some room to grow but the width is definitely narrow. Seeing as these are specifically for babies, you'd think they'd make them super wise to accommodate chubby baby feet! I can barely buckle them on the loosest setting, but I'm going to keep them with hopes that they'll stretch out as she breaks them in.UPDATE - she broke them in and they fit perfect. I just ordered the next size up because she outgrew the size 2, and they fit perfectly. I also tried the regular Saltwater style on her in a 3 and there was absolutely no way her chubby foot was getting in there! Sea Wees for the win!

GREAT SANDAL, terrible sizing
These are ADORABLE. They seem sturdy, well made and comfortable and I can't wait for my little girl to wear them this summer. I do however need to return the size 2s that I bought and get a size 1 instead. They are HUGE.Prior to purchasing, I went onto the salt water website to find a size chart, but could only find a size chart that starts at infant size 3 and saying that size 3 infants sandals are 12cm... I went by this and ordered a size 2 knowing I needed a smaller shoe. My size 2 however is exactly 12cm... So I'm not sure what is going on with their size chart. I at the same time ordered a toddler size 7 salt water sandal which according to the size chart is 15cm, and this is spot on with the measurement of the sandal I received. I'm not sure if I got a incorrectly labeled sandal or not, but my size 2s are definitely 12cm like the size charts lists for the size 3... I've included a picture.Size issues aside, these are great sandals.
