I've been wearing my lacy blue "garden shoes" to work every day for the past couple of years. they're cute, and I figured that because they're very expensive shoes (though I got two pair on clearance for ten bucks each) they were ok for work. however the season is about to begin and we're expecting a big one, so I had to up my game and "look the part" (our clients are all gazillionaires, so I can't actually compete).wanted something "oxford-y" and my usual places didn't have anything I liked, so I came to amazon, saw these tuks, and fell in love. the price isn't that bad, but I hesitated because I haven't paid this much for shoes in decades (though I always buy really good shoes because I consider it one of the most important things one can do for general health, but clearance aisles are my neighborhood). decided to just bite the bullet, order them, and put in for more overtime...they arrived, I opened the box, and they were so beautiful I was afraid to try them on for fear they wouldn't fit and I'd have to send them back. did nothing but look at them for two days. tomorrow would be the first day I'd wear them, so today I gave myself a pedicure, donned the bamboo socks for the first time, and slipped into these shoes.they're a little big, even with thick socks, but that just means there's room for an insert. which is good, because the inner sole is a bit hard. not so hard that I wouldn't wear the shoes without the inserts, but I'm glad there's room for something cushy. the shoes feel very stiff, but provide a lot of support (the insert will make that even better, too).I liked these best of all the tuks I saw, because they have the highest wedge. it's just a tiny bit less than the clog-base on my garden shoes (they're danskos). have only worn them around the house so far, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE SHOES!!! I'm pretty easy on shoes, so I expect these to last for years and years and years. if they fall apart quickly I'll be back to change my review, but at this moment I'm beyond happy with this purchase. and they look great with both pants and dresses! HIGHly recommended.

Super comfortable and stylish
I wear a U.S. women’s 8.5, and I ordered the size 9, and they fit very well. I did add pillow insoles to make them slightly tighter. Good shoes but not for too long
Shoes were very comfortable, no need to break them in! i loved them. However, they started ripping from the sole about 5 months of wearing them everyday. I had a pair before that lasted 3 years before getting these. I'm not sure if it was just these pairs i got or if they just changed their product manufacturing, but they didn't last as long. The older pair i didnt have a sole problem, just the peeling of the faux leather. This pair didnt have the peeling problem, but now that I've had them for 9 months, i have to trash them because the soles will definitely fall off completely very soon.
