Love these. Slip on and slip off. Excellent quality, comfortable and very nice looking. Size 8 women’s fit perfectly. Price is worth it. Wear them almost exclusively when the weather is good. May purchase a fully enclosed pair as well with laces. That rust color is calling my name.
For medium width feet, size up 1/2 size for these. They have excellent support. Mine just arrived in the mail and they are sturdy, a bit heavy but so comfortable. Glad I read reviews that said to size up. Worked well for me and now I can toss my old mule sneakers that gave me terrible plantar fascitis. I love a mule.like this I can slip on and off quick. I like the look of no laces too! Very happy..just threw my old ones in the garbage bin!
Read all the reviews so ordered an 8. Width good but a little long. For this type of shoe it with the ortho insert it is important to have the arch support in the correct place because it's action is like a flip flop ( if you dont like slappy dont get them although laces might help). So ordered anther color in 7.5. Much better. Width not as good but these are canvas so can be stretched a bit. Inside is rough and I got a blister initially thus loss of a star but when worn with socks (Thorlos a must) they are awesome and no blisters. I figure eventually to be able to wear wo socks once broken in more. Not sure I'd walk miles in them (yet) but for short dog walks and out to store they are great. SO CUTE! Returned 8s for a 7.5 so have 2 colors. Super arch support.
Wanted to love these. Bought the backless purposely because of an injury to my Achilles tendon. While many reviews found these comfortable, I found them to be stiff and slightly uncomfortable. Also they tended to slide off my foot. I installed some "hickies" where the laces would go and that helped keep them on my feet better. Would have preferred if the canvas had some stretch to it... would have fit and felt better.
Taos tend to run a little snug on me as I have wide feet. I normally wear an 8-81/2 so ordered a 9, they fit great. The toe box is roomy and the length is perfect. But what I love is the strong arch support, it makes the shoe. I read reviews that said the shoe slides or moves around but I do not think it’s excessive. I wear mules most of the time and I don’t feel they move anymore than any other mule. And these shoes are very cute.
I love these shoes and they are very comfortable. I got a spot of something on the toe of one, and used a cloth with water to wipe it off. The color came out of the shoe. For what I paid for them, I didn’t expect that. I’m not quite sure what to do about it. They are canvas and should be able to be cleaned.
Although cute and seem to have nice arch support and are true to size, the shoes were behaving like flip flops and my toes had to curl to keep them on when I tested them inside the house. Sorry to say that they are being returned.
