Amazing comfort and quality. Great for sore feet.
Taos brand shoes are great no matter the style. My wife tried on a pair at a store and ended up buying 3 pair that day because of the immediate difference she felt in these shoes. They have great support and help with her foot pain.She then ordered 3 more pair on Amazon after wearing the first ones for a week.Taos is now her go to brand and she says that they are the most comfortable shoe she has ever warn. She said that some of the styles run about half a size smaller than expected (she wears nice thick socks "Darn Tough Brand".) Make sure you try on a pair before making a purchase online so you know your correct size.The quality of these shoes are well worth the price. She sees these as an investment because she no longer struggles with the bottom of her feet hurting. Go get yours today!

Great feel even the first day!
I would like to start this review by saying I researched this product before buying and it was also a product recommended by a friend for it's great arch support.I then went to a store that carried this brand to try them on for fit since I had heard that they ran small. Sure enough, I wear a 10 in most shoes and the 10 "fit", but the arch support hit in the wrong place and I felt my big toes were too close to the end of the shoe, so I asked to try on a half size bigger. They do not come in half sizes, so I tried the 11. Bingo!! The arch support fell in the right spot and it felt so much better! Since the store didn't carry my size in the style I wanted, I ordered from here hoping the fit would be the same.Yay!! It was. The day after my shoes arrived I wore them the whole day. They were comfortable and no issues with areas that rubbed or hurt my feet.The arch support is great for me. I have high arches that need support, but my feet can't take hard and ridged arch support or they ache afterwards. I did not experience any arch pain even though the arch support was obvious while wearing the shoes.I obviously can't speak to the durability of this shoe since this is the first pair I've owned, but they seam to be well constructed and I like the materials. I also think they are really cute! Love the style and color.Overall... I am happy with my purchase.

My whole life i have worn Converse - I have them in every color. 2 summers ago, all of a sudden I had unbearable pain at that joint on the bottom of my right big toe and had to take my shoe off. I notice a hard bump and was told it was a bunion. I haven't been able to wear Converse since that day and have spent the last 2 years trying to find every sort of shoe needed, that were not hideous. I found this shoe early on and bought the light gray and still have them. I later added navy and now, this brownish color. I really wish they made more colors in wide. For reference I used to be a 7.5/8, and I noticed myself buying both bigger sizes and always looking for wide, for a couple years before the bunion emerged. I now wear an 8.5 wide, pretty consistently. With all 3 pairs, I initially took out the nice arched soles they have - it just felt too constricted to me. But after I wore them for a bit, I just put them back in. They are comfortable and there is no break in period, no blisters, no rubbing or pinching. They are cute....they actually are probably cuter than my Converse ever were because they have a nice rounded profile which makes your feet look small. I still wear my first pair, now 2 years old, and they are in good shape. Super stoked that I found these and don't have to wear ugly old lady shoes. My only wish is they carried wide in more colors ...and that they sent me a free pair (8.5 wide, purple 😉🤣).

Cute and comfortable, but run small
These shoes are great! Lots of support and really cute look. They do run small, as other reviews have stated. I usually wear a size 6, so I ordered a 6.5 and they fit well. I will try them at work and see how they do all day. If good, will order another color.*update... I have been wearing these around the house just to make sure they are comfortable, before i try them outside in case I need to send them back. While they are comfortable, they are a little bit narrow for wide feet.

Not the quality I expected for price.
This was my first purchase of Taos sneakers and I was hesitant to get them online but with Amazon's great return policy I decided to try them.Firstly, I had a really difficult time finding the style I wanted so settled for this one which apparently only came in whole sizes. What's up with this? Just go up or down and adapt your foot to it and suffer. Really? Anyway,upon arrival I excitedly opened them and was immediately disappointed by a lot of small wrinkles or creases all around the shoe on the soft brushed canvas surface. It's like that surface has been bonded to another surface but not very well or very smoothly so there are pockets of air left where it didn't lay flat. I wish I had taken pictures.The 8 turned out to be too large since I really needed a 7.5 so I had to return it which I think I would have done anyway given the many surface flaws, @ $99 I think you might expect better.I ended up ordering a 7.5 from a different source and I love them. Fit like a glove with no break in period at all.
