Absolutely love these shoes. Not only are they stylish, but also comfortable. I need a round high toe box which these have, as well as arch support. Have been wearing Taos sandals for years. Now for shoes. Yes Yes Yes. comfortable on first wearing!!!
I've own 2 pairs of these exact Taos Mary Janes (black and brown), but wanted to replace the black ones because they were scuffed up and I needed a bit nicer look. Unfortunately, the leather on this new pair is MUCH stiffer than the older pair and thus, not as comfortable. I use my custom orthotics in them for better support, but they just are not as comfy as before.
Only thing is .... they run small. I had to return my pair and am waiting for the price to be what I bought them at... Sadly way too much for my wallet right now... Don't get me wrong. They're worth it, but I just don't have a 'wallet' for them.
I had Taos Mary Jane Samba shoes, and I loved them, but these do not have the same support specifically arch support. My feet hurt after wearing them only a short time. I thought being the same brand it would feel the same, but it doesn’t.
I used these brand of shoes when I was a flight attendant 20 yrs ago. Needless to say you are on your feet a lot walking through the airport. I bought these shoes for a 3 day tradeshow and I was on my feet all day. My feet did not hurt at all. I also wore these without socks too so the insole molded to my feet. They are a little “grandma ish” looking but I will take comfort any day. I HIGHLY recommend them.
These are very comfortable. I can wear them all day with no problem.
Good shoe. Comfortable with good arch support however runs approximately half size small.
