Significant arch support and high quality
I hesitated spending the money on these shoes, but very glad I did. Seems you have to search high and low to get real leather shoes these days. These are beautiful, and so much more comfortable than the “plastic” shoes everyone sells. The arch supports are high and very supportive. I saw some reviews with concerns about tightness at the instep. I have very high arches and instep. It is noticeable the way the shoe fits tighter around my instep, but not at all uncomfortable. I feel like it is just giving me way more support than other shoes. I will be looking to Taos for future shoe purchases based on the quality and style if this purchase.

Seeing the arch support before I put them on was impressive. They were a little tight at first and had to use a shoe horn, but once I put them on and walked around the house, they softened and became very comfortable. The high price kept me from buying for a while, but I finally decided to get them. I think I am going to really enjoy them!

Perfect right out of the box
Great shoe. I wore them with no socks the first day and didn’t get blisters. So comfortable. Great arch support. My foot is on the narrow side of normal and they fit perfectly. The tow box is a good fit for me. They were not used, but have been tried on, the paper for the shoes was in the box, not in the shoes themselves. Didn’t impact my experience.
