Nice dress shoes!
I'm particular about my footwear. As a kid I had problems with my feet, and though those problems are long-gone it left me wanting to keep my feet as healthy as I can. I wear barefoot shoes, good quality socks, and do a lot of self-care on my feet. Dress shoes are always a sore spot (pun) for me as they don't flex enough and trap my foot in the same position. I'm always looking for better ones, and while I know I won't find barefoot-style dress shoes for a good price I try to find dress shoes that don't hurt too bad. When I saw this listing I decided to give them a try. These are very nice looking shoes! There's a texturing that makes this look like real leather, hard to describe but hopefully you can tell in the pictures. The soles are fairly thick, as are the insoles. The leather (or leather-like material) is a nice, dark black, and I don't see any blemishes of any kind.In use these are comfortable shoes! Not as comfortable as my barefoot shoes, but still nice. I wouldn't want to be on my feet all day in these, but going out for a few hours dressed up shouldn't be an issue. There's not much flex in the soles but these should break in over time. These are a tad snug on me, but I alternate between a 10 and 10.5 or 10 wide, so that's not surprising, and like with the soles these should break in a bit and loosen up.Overall I'm pleased with these shoes. I now have decent dress shoes that don't instantly hurt my feet. For the price these are well worth it. I'll try to remember to update this review once I have some more miles in them.
