Perfect Cruise Slides — Light, Comfy, and Easy to Pack

I bought these slides for a cruise, mainly for walking around the ship and pool areas, and they were a solid pick. The walking ability is great — light on the feet and easy to move in without that clunky flip-flop feel. I wore them for hours on sea days, and my feet never got sore.The cushioning is better than I expected for this price. It’s soft enough to stay comfortable but firm enough to support your steps on hard surfaces. The straps adjust easily and have plenty of length to fit different foot shapes — once set, they stay secure without slipping.The leather look (it’s synthetic) gives them a cleaner style, so they don’t scream “cheap pool slides.” I actually liked how they looked with casual shorts and a tee. Comfort-wise, they hit the mark — light, cushioned, and easy to wear all day.Pros: comfortable fit, good cushioning, adjustable straps, and versatile style.Cons: not real leather, but they still look good for casual wear.Overall, these turned out to be perfect for the cruise — easy to pack, comfortable for long walks, and stylish enough to wear beyond the pool deck.

Get your hole punch and scissors out

These sandals are workable, but the sizing and design quality is inconsistent in my experience. In fact I even had to modify a pair with a hole punch and scissors to make it right. (See below)I ordered 2 pairs of these, i.e. same seller, same brand, same style, and same nominal size, but in different colors. One color was a bit too big, though the size on the bottom was the same. I returned the larger pair, and ordered a 2nd pair of the color that originally fit – i.e. same seller, brand, style, nominal size, _and_ color – but even though all the parameters were the same, the new pair was still bigger than the pair I'd kept. Another return, and I had to go directly to Amazon for a shipping refund.12 is perfect for me in the smaller, inconsistent version of the same product, which is the outlier among the pairs I received. I have no overhang in the front or back, a bit more than 1/4 inch of extra space along most of the front, except at the outermost toe, and my heel doesn't butt up against the back, but almost.Unfortunately the larger, apparently newer version of the product is a bit weird for me in the footbed, and for that reason it turns out the larger size of that version is slightly more comfortable than the size that looks right, but there's a bit too much extra room in the back.Also unfortunate is that the top straps in the newer version aren't designed right for me either. If they're set to give my foot enough room, they don't connect to one another in a smooth arc, but at an angle, as the cut of the straps makes them both want to reach forward. I used a one-hole punch to punch a new hole for the buckle rivet and reattached the buckle lower down on the outside and slightly more toward the front of each sandal, cutting off the excess strap containing the old rivet hole, and the upper strap now lies much better. It was pretty easy to pop the plastic rivet out of the old hole and manipulate it into the new one.I'm satisfied with the older model of the sandal and my modified version of the newer model, but not with the unmodified newer model.Also, the size chart currently shown in this listing isn't accurate. It goes up to 10.63 inches for heel-to-toe measurement at size 13, whereas I have an 11-inch heel-to-toe measurement and fairly wide feet (but not fat, and without a particularly wide heel), and 12 is verging on too big for me, at least lengthwise.
