Fantastic, light weight, comfortable and surprisingly robust hiking boot
Update late 2024: these boots are extremely hardy. It's been a couple years, and hundreds of miles, always with a pack full of camera gear, and these are still in great shape. Really impressive longevity.I finally put these boots through their paces on a 9mile, 2500ft of elevation gain hike, over rocky terrain, with a serious bolder scramble at the top, while carrying at least 25lbs of camera gear. The boots are not only comfortable, but seem like they will hold up quite well. Toe box was amazing on decent. I didn't get any hotspots, or move around in the boot, even with the toe box feeling quite roomy. I was really impressed.Ankle support is decent, but not great. I didn't expect a ton of stiff ankle support from a boot based on sneaker, so this wasn't a surprise to me. Just something to be aware of if ankle support is what you are after ;)

What's with the big hole on the bottom of the soles? They will fill with mud
What's with the big hole on the outside bottom of the soles? They will fill with mud, & this is a gortex hiker. May be fine as a street fashion shoe, but not a hiking shoe. Also the material layers separate at the toe, leaving unsightly ridges on the outside, and painful folds on the inside.

Comfort
These are the most comfortable boots you will ever wear even more comfortable than your best running shoes. I’m a correctional officer will be on my feet for 8 to 16 hours and with these it feels like I’m walking on a cloud. Stylish as all hell as well.

Had to return due to size
Unfortunately these boots are not built for wider feet.
