Best Hiking Boot for Wide Feet with Narrow Heel
I am a female hiker with a wide foot & a narrow heel, Men's 7E. These are a dream. I have worn Keen for years but switched to these. Wider toe box, love it. Wide base like no other boot. Have worn these for 3 months in Maryland & Colorado hiking several days a week. I am using their insole instead of my OTC orthotic & working great. Read the review on runrepeat.com. I love these so much I have bought 2 more pairs, size 7 is hard to find. Do not stop making these please !

Break-in doesn't happen
I purchased these 10 months ago. Trying to be fair, I waited to do a written review on the whole enchilada until I gave the product a fair chance final , I think 10 months is a fair run for the money- here is the update. If these don't feel great out of the box, they DON'T-WON'T improve. There is a synthetic portion that runs across the top of the shoe, just at the base of the laces and across the top of the foot, which will not break-in unless you use a heat gun and a shoe stretcher, period. The material used at the base of the laces (see attached pic) is not leather, its synthetic and it thus it just doesn't break in, won't conform to your foot nor will give any at all. I have no issue with paying the price of these shoes if the quality is there, it wasn't in this Teva Design. Unless you have a very narrow, slim, skinny foot I cannot recommend. With a price tag of just under 175.00, RUN Forest, Run! These are NOT worth the price.Man, I miss my Teva Riva eVents these are more expensive but NOT even close to the quality of any other Teva product I have purchased in the last 20 yrs.
