Fits like a glove
This shoe is incredibly comfortable, even right out of the box. I bought them for a water hike/kayaking outing, and they seem perfect! The elastic lacing is easily adjustable without having to bother with actual laces, which means the shoes can hug tightly if you want secure footing on slippery rocks or hang a bit loosely if you're on a more casual outing. The back heel folds down to make a clog-style shoe, and is comfortable to walk on. I didn't even notice the feel of the heel after testing it out. These shoes grip incredibly well, even on wet surfaces. I love the colors (stylish, not so girly that I feel embarrassed to wear them, rugged enough to match my outdoor clothing, and dark-colored enough to hide dirt/mud), and they are casual enough to wear into restaurants or bars, too. Mine fit like a glove, and I love wearing them.Only downside: as with most sandals, my feet start to stink a bit when they sweat and I don't have socks to wick away the moisture. However, this is only problematic on dry hikes---water activities mean my feet get rinsed enough that this isn't much of an issue. And these shoes were made for water sports. They are absolutely perfect for canoe/kayak/rafting trips, or for waterfall hikes.

Great shoes, attractive design, and decent sole traction.
(This review is on behalf of my wife.) Shoe fits great, it has a comfortable instep for my arch support. The back side of the shoe folds down, great for when I need to quickly slid into my shoes "mule-style" and run. The fabric is soft but my only complaint is the stitching on the inside of the shoe above my arches caused some friction burn. Bad if you plan to hike in streams for a while, the friction lead to mild blistering. If you wear ankle socks for the long haul, you will be fine. Just shed off the socks when you plan to trek through water. I found these shoes very practical and comfortable, much like an athletic sneaker but with aqua versatility. Great shoes, attractive design, and decent sole traction.

Aqua Fit Comfort and Style
After discovering so many types of "water shoes" and reading dozens of reviews, I realized buying water shoes online could be very tricky indeed. The reviews sold me on these and I'm thrilled with them. They are comfortable, easy to get on and off (both dry and wet), fit snugly during class, are light, dry quickly and do not slip on the wet floors.**Sizing--I used the size measuring chart, looked at the size of my running shoes and tried to figure out from the reviews what size I would need. I wear an 8.5 in running shoes, but the size chart showed I needed an 8. I went with the 8 since these are worn without socks. They are a perfect fit. Not too tight, not to lose, good toe room.Great style for a good price and they made a world of difference on my feet during the Aqua Fit class I take each week. I highly recommend these shoes for anyone needing support and protection when in the water.Edit: Shoes continue to hold up well after many water aerobics classes. I've also worn them out and about very comfortably.

Perfect as Described
Needed an enclosed shoe (vs flip flops) for yacht/trek adventure on the Amazon River. These are awesome. Granted, have only worn them around home to break in, however, they need no breaking in. I have a naturally wide foot, plus bunions and these are plenty wide. Yes, I up sized one size (6 to 7) to be sure they were roomy. Comfortable even without socks. I get what people say about a kinda scratchy spot, but after a couple minutes you don't notice it at all. And, there is no seam on the bunion, yea! There is enough depth to slip in an arch support, I did. Flimsy-no, light weight-yes . . . they're a water shoe, not hiking boot. I love them & know they will be perfect:)

Dries fast!
It is true to size. I read most of the reviews before ordering the shoes and The comments about the shoe being scratchy inside is true. I put socks on and it was fine and comfortable. The firstt time I wore the shoes, I spilt something on it so i threw it in the washer. I was surprised how quickly it dried.

Great Watershoe for the Beach
I work on the beach regularly, both walking and kayaking out and going out on boats. I work a lot in the salt water and sand, and I was tired of my uncomfortable hiking shoes getting ruined and wet from a large wave. I decided to get these watershoes because of the great reviews, and I give it two thumbs up.For me, the fit ran true, so no need to up or down size. When I first tried them on, the shoes fit wonderfully. I walked on the beach with them and got my feet wet, and I did get a small sore on the inside of my ankles, but after that first wear, I never felt uncomfortable in them again. The shoes themselves are cute and stylish, comfortable and they dry really quickly (I could feel them drying off while I was walking).I am giving this 4 stars only because of the sore I got on my feet during the break-in period on the first day I wore them. Also because sand easily got stuck inside the shoe, but sand gets inside any shoe and gets stuck, so it's not really THAT big of a deal.Overall I really love these watershoes and I recommend them to anyone in the market for a shoe.

Char from Honolulu
Nice looking shoe and fit well. I needed a second pair of shoes for water aerobics but disappointed that they felt scratchy on my feet and did not provide sufficient padding in the soles ... I was recently diagnosed with arthritis and need a shoe with good support! These are going back and will reorder a 2nd pair the Ryka Aqua Fit I already have. Great service with Amazon's free return shipping!
