Love these; so comfy and adjustable in three places

This review is for the Sunset Simply Taupe sandals in size 8. These are my first Tevas and I'm very pleased with them. They are cute and fit true to size on my feet. So far are very comfortable. The soles seemed a little more slick than expected, but after some walking on pavement they've become more grippy. What I especially love about these are the adjustability of the fit and the style and colors. The footbed is generous in length and width so no spilling over the sides or at the toes or heels. I ordered my regular size and they fit great after adjusting the straps for my thin feet.These adjust with velcro in three different places: across the toes, around the heel, and across the top of the foot. I've never had sandals that could adjust in so many areas. These would be especially good for women whose feet may swell at different times. The straps are soft and comfy. The footbed isn't as cushiony as some but is comfortable and offers good support for sandals. These are also supposed to be okay if they get submerged in water and are supposed to be good for light hiking. I'm loving them so far.Where the velcro accidentally got on top of the fabric of one of the straps, it pulled up some fibers, but I just trimmed the fuzz off with scissors. No real harm done but I'll be more careful with the velcro after I remove them from now on.A note on sizing:I liked these so well I later bought a pair of Teva Tirra sandals in the Bering Sea color, same size. I love those also, but the sizing is slightly different. The Hurricane's footbed is more generous in width and length, and I think they are more true to size. Also, the Hurricane has an adjustable strap around the back of the heel that the Tirra does not. As some Tirra reviews have noted, the Tirras might run about a half-size smaller than the Hurricanes. My usual size is 8, sometimes 7.5, and the Tirra in size 8 is almost too short for my right big toe; the Hurricane has plenty of length. Both work for me, but they are a little different.
