A fabulous sandal that fits all of my needs!
I wanted these shoes because well, it's summer and I absolutely hate wearing tennis shoes when it's 90 degrees out (even in the house!) unless I have to! I didn't even know they made "athletic sandals", to be honest, until I searched for them! Of course, fortunately I can find most anything on Amazon - and I love that!Okay, so it's summer, I wanted some sandals because the sandals I have no longer provided the support I needed, but it wasn't just that. I could pull out a new pair, but I have a few feet problems that make it tough to enjoy those sandals all day. I pronate easily, so when I would take the dogs out, any crack in the sidewalk, or any unevenness in the cement, and my ankle would just double over, and I would likely fall down. I already have sustained quite a bit of damage to my left knee due to all of these falls, so shoes have become super important. I also have no arches, so shoes are even more important!! Even when my husband and I take the dogs out together, he used to ask me if I wanted to walk further, but I never could because I had my pretty little sandals on, and I was always afraid my ankle would pronate over some stupid crack and I would hit the cement. Sad, right?!I wear a size 8.5 in tennis shoes, so at first I ordered an 8.5 in these, and they looked like boats on my feet! I go up a size in tennis shoes because most of them have that weird curvature, and my feet end up feeling squished and falling asleep, but I obviously didn't need to do that in these sandals. In the end, a size 8 was perfect. Perfect length. Perfect width. And every strap is adjustable.Everything I asked in "ask the community" was true - these sandals do have great arch support, you CAN wear them out to walk your dog AND to go shopping. I wear them all day in my house, go in and out, no pronation - it's great. I even wear them during some weight lifting sessions (at home,mind you) like when I am doing shoulders, biceps or chest and triceps (clearly at home I am not worried about dropping weights on my toes). I am glad I don't fear them getting wet, like my other sandals (because the rain ruined one pair!), because I even have to take the doggies out when it rains, you know?!I have had these for about a month, and so far I love them! I am so glad I found them, as I had never heard of this brand, nor this type of shoe! They are very comfortable and they are even kind of cute - for an athletic sandal!! There IS a reason why they have so many fabulous reviews!

Well made sport shoe
I bought these to replace a pair of similar sport sandals that I had worn out after many years. I was not sure what to expect because I had tried on a different style of Tevas in a store and they were too narrow. These fit perfectly on my wide feet. They appear to be very well constructed with good tread on the bottom and a non-slip insole. Very secure, adjustable straps with velcro allow for the perfect fit. Note to Teva - make the ankle strap longer. I am an average sized woman with average sized ankles and after adjusting the strap, a lot of the "fuzzy" part of the velcro area is showing. another inch would be good. After "test driving" these on a few 3-mile walks, I can say that they are very comfortable and plenty wide enough to allow for natural foot movement. The bonus is that you can get them soaked and they dry fast - even while wearing, which makes these great for visiting theme parks, vacations, parks or any other place where you might walk through water or mud. Just hose them off! These are also available in a wide menu of colors so you can easily find a pair to fit your style.***Update***It's been almost a year and these still look as good as new. I actually prefer walking in these instead of my Nikes. I have worn these on several vacations - cruises and theme parks. They are still super comfortable and easy to clean. I have bought a second pair.

Promising Sandal!
I LOVE these shoes. I had read a lot of reviews on them, and regardless of what site I was on, the reviews were all 5-star, raving reviews. I was sick of trying to wear dressier, 'fashionable' sandals while walking around. As a moderately active college student, I was A LOT, so I decided to breakdown and get a decent pair of actually supportive, comfy sandals. I tried these on in person somewhere and loved how they fit, but I wanted purple ;) Which brought me to Amazon. I am impacient, so I paid the 4 dollars for 1 day shipping, and it came right when I thought it would. They were in perfect condition, in an authentic Teva box.Initial impression: the color was even better than I thought it would be! Of course, I could have gotten a black pair so that they matched more, showed less dirt, blah blah blah. I don't think I could handle buying another pair of blah sandals. The purple gradient is adorable, and matches any sort of neutral color. I frequently wear it with jean shorts and a gray or black shirt. They look good whether I wear them with jeans rolled up, athletic shorts, jean shorts, etc. I am a 20 year old, semi-fit female, and I believe these are pretty darn cute for an athletic sandal.I haven't worn them extensively outdoors yet. Of course I have worn them on side walks, roads, and grass, but I have yet to wear them hiking or kayaking or anything. One reason I chose to get these is that they are supposed to be good for water to land transitions. One very damp kayak trip last summer taught me that amphibious shoes are a must. The material they are made of seems like it would dry quickly, though, so that seems promising.The 'too long, didn't read' version:They fit exactly how I expected them to, and are my usual size. Purple color is great, and they work well in different types of environment. They are a great versatile, athletic sandal that can be dressed up or down. They feel like need a little breaking in before taking them on any great endeavors, but overall, a great sandal for everyday use.

Great Teva sandals!!
These Teva sandals are the very best! I have had this brand for years but this new color really appeal to me and it looks great with everything I wear! So comfortable right out of the box hardly any break-in period. They arrived in perfect condition, thank you seller!
