Wondering where these shoes have been all my life?
UPDATE 9/11/17:I have now had these sandals for an entire year and guess what? I still have them, I still wear them, they still offer support, and they are still comfortable. Wow! I would totally buy these again and highly recommend them.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I cannot love these shoes any more than I already do. I now own 4 pairs of them. These black ones, blue strapped ones, and pink strapped ones. I even found a good deal on another pair of black ones to put aside for later.I have osteoarthritis in my left big toe and the the joint is kinda malformed now. I also have psoriatic arthritis. Basically, I am 43 years old and my joints are not in good shape. I was starting to really have shooting toe pain and I had to ditch a number of pairs of closed toed flats that I had. Very disappointing, as one pair were a major expensive brand made from Italian leather.We spend a number of days a week at services and also volunteering and though I could get by with wearing nicer flip flops, when I found these with a heel, I was curious. Now that I have them ... I am in love. When my toe is very swollen they can be a little snug over my bump, but overall, these shoes are just plain comfy. I have gotten compliments on them and they pass for being a little dressy.I normally wear an 8.5c (wide) or a 9 and these 9s are perfect. They are wide enough and long enough. They have good support and feel like my memory foam mattress. They are just so comfy.I loved these pairs I own so much, I just bought 2 pairs of the flatter version of these shoes, the ones with less heel so I could wear them outside in the yard. I have been looking for a good flip flop that withstands the beating of my life and I hope they fit the bill.Wondering where these shoes have been all my life? No regrets, just love.

Comfortable and stylish
These Teva's live up to their reputation as durable, high-quality flip flops. My last pair (same style) lasted over 6 years, including use for hiking in a rain forest in Mexico! I had trouble finding another pair this same style, which offers lots of cushioning and more arch support than most flip flops. I just put the new pair to the test wearing them all over Barcelona and they were comfortable from the first to the last day of walking!

Comfortable once broken in -
I purchased a size 9 (black). My shoe size ranges between 8 and 9, but having tried this exact pair on at a big box camping store, I settled with 9. I almost considered the 10 because the 9 leaves very little front to back wiggle room, so if you are a forceful walker, you may find your toes hanging onto the forward edge. In addition, if you believe that you have wide, or "fat feet" as my sister calls hers, then you may consider going one size up since there isn't much stretch in the straps (and absolutely no adjustments).When I received the shoes, I walked around the apartment and feared that they would prove to be uncomfortable at best. The straps next to the smallest toes were very tight, at first. But after a day of running errands, they felt much more comfortable and I will be taking them to Southeast Asia as my casual/dressy shoes.Pros: The straps stay in place well; the soles seem sturdy enough; the wedge style provides moderate height and style without being tacky; and the squishy insole makes all day wear comfortable.Cons: Not for vigorous exercise/hiking as they operate only slightly more secured than a flip-flop

VERY TIGHT but quickly loosened up
I'm 5'8" and wear a size 9. I wanted a light weight sandal that would give me a little lift without making me too tall. When these first arrived, oh my word, the straps were SO TIGHT. I do not have thick feet, mine are rather thin/bony, but the straps were cutting into the top of my foot! I almost sent them back, but my husband convinced me to stick it out, since I loved them otherwise (height is perfect and the length is true to size) and they are very affordable. I'm so glad he did! I LOVE these sandals now! Now that I've worn them (I've had them about a month) my feet have sunk a bit into the foam and the straps have loosened up. They are so very comfortable, make my legs look great, they are very lightweight and don't rub anywhere.I have given a 4 star review because I don't expect them to hold up longer than the season but I do love them so much I have ordered a second pair to have on hand for next summer if this pair wears out by then.

I ordered size 9 and the left came a normal size 9 but the right is way too small. Its like the straps aren't right because the top strap is too far to the left. The return window closed, I hope the company makes this right. These are expensive sandals.

Love these sandals! I'm a size 8 3/4. So i can can go up or down a 1/2 size depending on the shoes. These fit perfect, and I have some room to spare. My feet are wide, and swell in the heat. But these shoes fit perfectly! They go with casual dresses, shorts or jeans. I needed a pair that would last. These seem to put up with my clumsiness, and I wear them all day, most days.I haven't done any long walks, but I will be soon. I've gone shopping in them, and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. I just bought a second pair for when these die. I had sandals from this company many years ago, and they held up great! I expect the same thing from this pair. I hope i helped anyone looking for a good review. I will try to update when I go for a long walk in them.

Too loose
I wanted to love these. I love the regular Teva flip flops and was very happy to find them in a wedge. I did order a size up as is usually suggested by reviewers so that the straps are't too tight. I ordered a 9 in these and the regular Teva strapy flip flops. These are much too loose on my foot and I do not have narrow feet. My feet slide forward rather than being help in place by the straps and my toes almost hang off of the front because of it. The length is fine, the straps are just too lose.These do have the nice mushy foot bed and have to potential to be comfortable provided they actually fit right. they just didn't work for me.Pros:Look nice and modernNice wedge heightComfort foot bedCons:Straps are too loose
